Hi, everytime i attempt to create a new forum post at the admin i get the error “ERROR: Are you sure you wanted to do that?”
I have no idea why it is doing this as its a new install of the bbforum plugin.
Has anyone else had this problem?

Hi, I’ve just set up a new website to creat a private forum for a small group. I’m using at as a stand alone site, separate from my WordPress blog. I installed bbPress via Softaculous, and the version it’s given me is 1.2.
My main concern is that there’s NO option to set forums as visible to members only, as shown in the documentation. I really need that.
Will upgrading to a newer version fix that? I’m not sure how to manage the upgrade.

Hi there,
My customer has a special requirement on reply sorting in a forum topic. We implemented a ‘mark as answer’ feature to mark a reply as the answer of the topic. This information is stored in postmeta table. Now we want to sort the replies in the topic in this order:
– The original post appears at the first place.
– The ‘marked as answer’ reply is in second place.
– The remaining replies are sorted by date as normal.
How to make that happen?

I’m using the plugin bbPress Topics for Posts to be able to display all comments on a forum as well. I want anonymous users to be able to post comments on all my WordPress posts, but want them to register in order to reply to (other) forums.
Would this be possible? Any other solution? Thanks!
i have updated to 2.4,I find a problem for search.
when the wordpress Permalink Settings use Numeric like(http://localhost/test/archives/123),
use the bbPress forum search form, It will not result always.

Some user contatc me and tell me wich not find a edit link for your post.. Now i just login with normal user account and really it not show a edit link.. But if i copy and past a direct url to edit a post o a reply it works fine..
I don’t remember if with previosly version 2.3.2 edit link are present but i can find it with 2.4 version..
Have you a solution for this issue?

I am using bbPress Version 2.4 and whenever I try to create a new forum I get a message saying ‘ “cheatin huh”. I’ve been bbPress for a year or so and this was happening with the previous version 2.3 of bbPress too. Does anyone have idea how I can fix this?

You can go back 6 years and people ask for Live Preview Comment, but still there is none. Quite shocking since it’s a pretty common thing to need\want for users.
So I guess 6 years more to wait for someone \ bbPress developers to hatch this idea? That it’s actually NEEDED? 🙂
bbPress is showing this when you are in a topic:
Mydomain.com > Topic Title
When you are suppose to see this:
Mydomain.com > Forums > ForumnName > Topic Title
