Hi I have a website i am developing called groupsoz.com.au on a multisite blogfarm with s2member—- I am installing a forum with the plugin called bbpress—it seem to install but pages do not show —when I click on forums it says -PAGE NOT FOUND—could that be that one of the setting is localhost—what do I need to set that as?—-can u help?

When a user tries to send a private message “That page can’t be found.” error comes up. How can I solve this problem?
I’m using wordpress 3.8.1 and buddypress 1.9.2; also private messages are enabled from buddypress settings.

About a month ago I updated to 2.5.3 and at the same time I updated another plugin that integrates with bbPress. A few weeks later I’m having some issues with the other plugin and I’m trying to nail down which plugin is causing the problem but I can’t find where to download older version of bbPress so I can roll back and see if the problem is still there. Any idea where I can download previous release versions? The download page only has the latest and some pre 2.x versions.

A couple things I need help with. Is there a way to move the BBpress forum to the right on the page? The box fields are overlapping one of the widgets on my side menu. The other thing I need to change the color of the box fields. Which php file would I modify? I have WordPress vs. 3.8.1 and bbpress 2.5.3.

I’m trying to set a maximum number of replies a user can submit to a specific topic or to a forum.
Attention, it is not the maximum replies to show but the maximum replies a user is allowed to post.
Is it somehow possible? Have anyone done it yet? If yes, please help me achieve the same result.

I am creating a new page that has nearly no other traffic.

The site will be very big with many forums! I just added ca. 600 Forums. If I enter ca. 30 forums per hour I get just max query of 150.000! Could that be? Then I have to wait until the rest of the hour ends to enter more.

The more I enter, the less forums I can enter per hour….

But in final there will be thousands of forums…..

Is there an alternative way to enter the forums? Without that many queries?

I have a Installation with bbpress and buddypress.
For different Groups in Buddypress I wanted to make Group forums. So I created a Group “Group1”.
I also created a “forum group” for Group 1. I also made some more forums with “Group 1” Forum Group as parent.

I THOUGHT now, that all members ans ONLY those members of Group 1 would have access to “Group 1” Forum Group with all the Forums benath that one.

But thats not working that way, right? All registered member can see the “childforums” of Group 1. Red them and post there. Thats not what I intended to do. When I make the childforums to “private” even the Groupmembers cannot see them.

That´s how it is.
Woul perhaps someone give me a hint, where my mind is wrong with that?
Its really urgent.

I just noticed that my forum freshness is not updating. The topic freshness is being updated just not the forum freshness.

Can anyone suggest what I might need to do to resolve this issue?
