Hello, I want to know if bbpress has a chat option integrated or what plugin you recommend to install inside my forum site. But not like a chatbox in the corner of the website footer… I need it like an option inside my bbpress forum, a private and integrated chat. I want to enable the option of interacting beetween the users of the forum. It is possible to do? Thanks

On my site, each post has a different background (darker shades of pink) and therefore a different font color to work with the background color. With the posts this works great, but in my bbpress forums, the background color changes but the color of the font takes the color only of the first post. The theme I used was Twentythirteen and then the child theme was a modified version of 2013 blue sequence. What am I doing wrong? I am slowly learning about CSS but have little knowledge this far. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Since hidden forum is set for moderator and above role right? Is it possible though that Admin/Keymaster person can select who can access to this hidden forum regardless of their roles? e.g. at VIP hidden forum, the keymaster wants to have John (participant), Mary (spectator) and Abbi (moderator) to have access to this hidden forum. How to set this up? That means though Steven is another (participant), he will not have access to this hidden forum. Another word, this hidden forum members are selected based on ‘person’ not ‘roles’ possible?

I’ve been struggling with duplicate titles ever since moving over to bbPress.

I’m using the Yoast plugin and right now I’m getting about ~1,800 duplicate titles and they are all coming from the way bbPress creates single replies.

For instance, these two pages are producing duplicate titles:

Is there anyway I can just disable the way that the forums create a single page for each reply? Or, is there a way to add a unique identifier to the titles? I’ve got page numbers working on forum topics that go multiple pages, but I can’t get the titles to work.

I will have multiple forums with multiple moderators (hopefully) one per forum. I have seen old topics where the discussion of this functionality will be coming in v. 2.5 but I don’t see it at all. I know there is BuddyPress Moderation plugin but it can’t specify specific users.

Is there another plugin out there that will satisfy this requirement?

Is there anyway to automatically crop the users avatar? Some users are uploading bigger pictures, and its cutting the edges out.

I know youtube links can be embedded easily, just wondering if there’s anyway, or hope for a way, to as easily embed links from youku, It’s the Chinese youtube and it’s incredibly popular in China. I realize most users aren’t from China so I understand if it’s impossible, just wondering as most of my students are from China and it would make my life easy haha Thanks for your time!

Hello, ive been trying to figure out exactly what i need to do to make bbpress match the theme on afewunited.com check under community page and you can see it can anyone help me solve this issue? im new to all this css/html5 stuff.

the latest version of wordpress and bbpress

my font,background, and reply background is white
so all text is hidden.

i have tried applying the codes from styling crib into my theme css but it still dosent work.

does anyone have anycode to change the back ground

I installed the most recent bbpress version. Everything went well, except for the inline moderation tools: delete, split, close, … When you click one, the pages reloads, but nothing happens.
