Custom lost password after email confirmation received.

Published on May 7th, 2014 by JBBoY

Hi community,

I’m trying to redirect all the register steps out of wp-admin or wp-login.php to finally hide completely wp-admin section to users. Since now I’ve succeed with registration and field errors, but now I’m trying to do the same with the help of [lost-password].

The shortcode above works properly but the problem comes when an email with the /wp-login.php?action=rp&key=Y4I9GCCGagXxiaWk&login=my_user redirects the user to the wp-admin/wp-login area. This area has two fields “New password” and “Confirm new password”. Is there a shortcode who shows the same two fields in a custom page without the need of use wp-admin/wp-login area?

Thank you in advance for your help and time.

I downloaded a theme, now what..?

Published on May 6th, 2014 by sicky_brazz

Hi, I’m a bit confuzzled on what I am meant to do next, please can someone guide me through it..
An idiots guide if possible please 😛

Here’s what I did and where I’m up to..

1) – I downloaded a bbpress theme via www.bbshowcase.org
2) – Created a folder called “my-templates”
2) — /public_html/wp-content/themes/itheme2-child/bbpress/my-templates
3) – Extracted files and placed the “static” (theme name) folder into /my-templates

And that’s it.. I have hit a brick wall…
Where do I go from here and have I done everything correct so far? (I’m guessing not lol)

Question concerning Tapatalk Integration with bbPress

Published on May 5th, 2014 by KipFisher

I have a question about using Tapatalk with bbPress. I have everything installed, set up, and functioning. However, there’s one thing missing in the interface with my forum and Tapatalk…most recent or unread topics/replies. The closest I can find right now is to view the Timeline, but that shows the most recently created topics – not the topics in order of the most recent replies. Even if a topic has been replied to today, it may be far, far down the list because it (the original topic) was created a month ago. Is this a problem in my setup or just something that is not a function for bbPress/Tapatalk integration?

Forum Page not working

Published on May 5th, 2014 by buzzybee24

Hello, I have just installed bbpress and the forums page is showing up like this:

Search for: Home › Forums Forum Topics Posts Freshness Beauty, Health & Fitness 0 0 No Topics Chat Communities ACT (0, 0) NSW (0, 0) NT (0, 0) QLD (0, 0) SA (0, 0) TAS (0, 0) VIC (0, 0) WA (0, 0) 0 0 No Topics DIY Projects DIY Decorations (0, 0) DIY Favors […]

The forums I have created are showing up in a nice boxed format which I expected but my forums page isn’t I have checked the settings and gone back through the installation instructions but for some reason it shows up as a whole lot of text not in a nice forum layout?

Page does not exist when clicking on Forum category

Published on May 5th, 2014 by greg_79

Dear all,

I must be missing something, a setting or whatever. I have just installed my forum and you can see it on http://www.pacificwharf.net/forums. But there must be something wrong in the settings or missing. Please click on any of the two forum categories and you will see that you are led into a typcial “Oops! That page cannot be found.”.

At the same time I am also having problems with my urls and htaccess, but when loading a “valid url” for the forum category I get the error 500 Internal server error.

What am I doing wrong? Many thanks to all those who will try to give me a hand with this.

BR,
Greg
