Hi all
I’m using the default bbPress to which I have added custom css – nothing crazy just some colour changes etc.
Everything seems to working fine apart for the user settings page.
The avatar shows with the navigation underneath.
The information about post started shows and I can edit the user details.
‘Your Posts Started’ doesn’t show any posts.
If I checked the page source it shows the code but it’s offset to the right of the window and just shows it as empty boxes.

I can’t seem to find documentation on how to remove bbpress. My issue with the plugin is the ‘edit’ feature on posts doesn’t work (I’m guessing reinstalling would fix this). Disabling the plugin leaves the keymaster usermeta fields in the database causing no access to the dashboard. What’s the correct way of doing this?

I have a forums page thats shows the forums and a search box at the top.
I have a topics page for topics in the forums with no search box at the top.
How do I have a search box at the top of the topics page.

I use it to embed PDFs in forum posts and it works fine.
It’s just that I and users often forget the format of the shortcode so I wonder if it is possible to have a button in the editor to aid one in creating the shortcode?

I’m trying to modify aspect of bbPress installed in my wordpress. I’ve read diferents posts but I can’t find the solution.
I need to change aspect buttons in bbPress because of font color and layout are similar and you can’t distinguish them.

i am new to bbpress, i want to display forums individual category top five recent topics. i dont know how can i archive this.
my forum structure like.
option1
option1.1 option1.2
option1.3 option1.4
when user click on option1.1 list all topics and user can post new topic. i want top 5 recent topics from option1.1,option1.2,option1.3,option1.4.

www.astronomertalk.com is the site i manage, I am looking for all feedback that one may have. My one request is that if you leave feedback you tell me how to fix it too, if possible.
I am thinking of putting in a classifieds page if the site grows large enough but want to know about the legality of that sort of thing, because I could see someone coming after us if the site crashes or something. however I see many junky forums with one freely so it is interesting.
My last question is if anyone knows how to make a forum restricted unless one has already posted “x” number of posts on different forums,

I just set up a user review portion to our site, astronomertalk.com/reviews,
I was wondering if we could create a star plugin, like when one was writing a review they could rate the item they are reviewing 1-5 stars, and then that shows up on their post.

I run astronomertalk.com, I am trying to get every forum except for the “user review category and subforums” on the forum page, but then just put “user review forum + categories” under astronomertalk.com/reviews.
I am pretty close because on astronomertalk.com/review it just has the review forum, however on the main forum page it has everything including the “review” category and forums. I want to get rid of it on the forum/main page. Does anyone know how?
