Inserting tables into topics

Published on September 24th, 2014 by TTT

Hi all,

I have a WordPress 4 / bbpress plugin installation.
I’d like to the able to insert a table into posts on the forum (like this one here).
Stuff I found mostly concerns either user authentication / MySQL (not what I’m after), or it doesn’t work (using the
…
tags).
Could anybody please point me in the right direction, or tell me how to do this?
thanks!

Subforum Freshness

Published on September 24th, 2014 by mniXo

Hi,

i have problem in my forum and don’t know what to do. I have few forums, subforums, topics, … At root forum page the freshness is displayed as follows:

FORUM1
– SUBFORUM1.1 …… Freshness: 22.09.2014, 15:28
– SUBFORUM1.2 …… Freshness: 22.09.2014, 15:28
– SUBFORUM1.3 …… Freshness: 22.09.2014, 15:28

FORUM2
– SUBFORUM2.1 …… Freshness: 08.09.2014, 12:50
– SUBFORUM2.2 …… Freshness: 08.09.2014, 12:50
– SUBFORUM2.3 …… Freshness: 08.09.2014, 12:50

And it is wrong. All subforums have the same freshness.

But when i click for example on FORUM1 everything is ok. At the new page it is displayed as follows:

SUBFORUM1.1 …… Freshness: 22.09.2014, 15:28
SUBFORUM1.2 …… Freshness: 20.09.2014, 22:34
SUBFORUM1.3 …… Freshness: 21.09.2014, 07:18

Could anyone write me where the problem is? Thanks.

Can't get the bbPress Sidebar to show

Published on September 23rd, 2014 by tlmoffett

I am using WordPress 4.0 and bbPress 2.5.4. My site is http://tomscustomwoodcraft.com using the Aspen Pro theme. I am also using the bbPress WP Tweaks plugin. I have followed the documentation to setup the Forums and that’s working, but when I try to use the sidebar for registration and login nothing shows up. The documentation says to go to the wp-content directory to check the page template(s). I know nothing about coding and I have no idea how to get to wp-content directory. Please help!!

Fatal Error: Out of Memory

Published on September 23rd, 2014 by darrenabidris

’d be grateful for some help.

I’ve recently set-up a wordpress site using version 4.0. The theme is twenty eleven (I’ve tried other themes as well). So far, I’ve haven’t added any content or plugins.

The only thing I’ve tried to add is bbpress (Version: 2.5.4).

After adding this plugin I get a “Fatal error: Out of memory”. I’ve contacted my hosting company and they’ve increased the memory limit to 256M by adding define(‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ‘256M’); in wp-config.php. I’ve uninstalled and re-installed bbpress but still get the out of memory error.

I’d be grateful for any help in resolving this problem.

Many thanks,

Darren

Required to choose forum

Published on September 22nd, 2014 by th961605

I’m working on new topic form that will require users to choose a forum. As it is now, if a forum is not chosen and the topic submitted, the new topic page is simply returned with no error message, and no published topic. Is there a way to generate an error message and therefore mandate users to choose a forum?
