Inserting tables into topics

Hi all,

I have a WordPress 4 / bbpress plugin installation.
I’d like to the able to insert a table into posts on the forum (like this one here).
Stuff I found mostly concerns either user authentication / MySQL (not what I’m after), or it doesn’t work (using the
…
tags).
Could anybody please point me in the right direction, or tell me how to do this?
thanks!

Download the plugin I have here, unzip it and upload it to your site and activate. 🙂

Edit: Users will then be able to use HTML table tags, e.g. <table>, <td>, <tr> etc

Thanks Stephen.
Using table tags works.
However, is there a more user-friendly solution?
Table tags work for me, but for some end users that’s not a great solution.

I admit it is not a great solution for a end user who is not HTML syntax aware, but atleast I can now create read-only topics with table content thanks to this plugin.

I am grateful it was still available! Thanks again.

@stephan, thanks for the plugin.
I installed it and it works like a charm.
Just a quick question.
The <table>, <tr>, etc tags aren’t visible in the editor. So I manually had to insert them in my reply. Is this how you intended it to be used or is there a setting area where I can make these tags available in the reply area?

thanks for letting me know.
