Replies can't be seen

Published on December 3rd, 2014 by kannued

I had upgraded a bbpress from 1.1 to current 2.5.4. And I realized yesterday, that there is about 75 replies that are not showing up. I do believe they are spam replies which occurred sometime with bbpress 1.1. When I go into wp’s dashboard to view replies, it just shows the number of replies “Publisher (75)”, but there is no way to see a listing or view any of the replies. If I go into Widgets, and put recent replies in a sidebar, the rest of my sidebar contents disappear. The same happens if I put the replies widget in the footer. The only plugins installed are Askimet and BBPress. The theme used is Twenty Ten. I believe I have to go into the database to view and probably delete the replies, but I’m not sure where to look. In what part of the database are replies hosted?

Replacing Thread Title with Images

Published on December 3rd, 2014 by ITGeist

Hello everybody,

I would like to know if it is possible to put images in the thread title. Here an example:
Normal Thread Title: Na’Vi vs. Team 2
What I need: <img_navi_logo> <img_vs> <img_team2_logo>

Is that somehow possible?

Does anybody have working group forums?

Published on December 2nd, 2014 by phatmass

More specifically, does anybody have working group forums that are not using the WordPress default permalink settings?

I have BuddyPress group forums on my site, but the topics will only show the first page. In other words, the topic pagination does not function properly, and my guess is because I am using “post name” for my permalink settings.

I just was wondering if ANYBODY has functioning group forums because I can’t find any examples.

Hello there,

I would like to integrate CKEditor with bbPress. I have already installed a plugin to integrate CKEditor with commenting wordpress related posts, but I have not found anything to make CKEditor visible with bbPress. Is there any way to add some code to core files? I am fairly new to to bbPress.

Changing Editor buttons

Published on December 1st, 2014 by petriknz

In the editor I need to, at the very least remove the code button.

Is there any way to use the default WordPress Editor where users can see the visual results of their editing instead of the html markup text.

Users of the forum I’m creating are not HTML coders and the way this works will totally confuse them. Also switching it off in settings makes matters worse as then they are presented with an instruction box showing the HTML tags.

How to delete all user posts with a function in bbpress?

Published on December 1st, 2014 by Serch1

Hello,

I’ve been looking for a function to delete all user posts and topics from a user ID without luck. What I’m looking for is something like:

delete_all_posts_and_topics(bbp_get_current_user_id());

Anyone know if bbPress has a similar function or some clue to how implement it?

Thank you a lot in advance.

Enable Visual editor by default?

Published on December 1st, 2014 by colinsp

I have used the code in the documentation to turn on the visual editor and it is working fine.

However, when you start or reply to a topic neither editor is selected by default. Is it possible to enable the Visual Editor by default? If not is there any way to remove the text editor so that visual is the only option and hopefully that will select by default?
