I use this in my template:

global $is_bb;

$is_bb = true;



get_header(); // call WP's header

$is_bb = true; tells WP that current page is a bbPress page. If you need to load different content depending on that, just use:

if ( $is_bb ) {

// bbPress-related code

} else {

// WP-only code

}
