Re: “I could not find the file bb-config-sample.php”
I’m not sure why, but the file wasn’t there. Perhaps I inadvertently deleted it? I downloaded the install again and bingo, there it was. Uploaded it and the install went off without a hitch.
Conclusion? Bad user on device error.
