opps, I mean when i put

RewriteRule ^(.*/)?forum/(.*) forum/$2 [L,R]

it takes it back to the /blog directory.. but when i put

RewriteRule ^(.*/)?forum/(.*) forum/$2 [R,L]

it gives me the redirect error..
