I re-enabled plugin, ran repair again and will let it run to further test. site is vpinball.com if you want to look
Tried the “plugin” and so far not seeing freshness update unless i run the forum repair. BUMMER i hope they get time to look into the issue soon.
I also see this freshness problem. Just updated to 2.6.2 tonight. I do not run bbp style pack. Will the plugin mentioned in this thread fix issue or only if you are using bbp style pack?
In reply to: Upgrade to 2.6.2 caused live site crashTried again and in recovery i can see this error…

In reply to: Upgrade to 2.6.2 caused live site crash@johnjamesjacoby i know you guys are busy but you think i should try 2.6rc7 or 2.6.0 then 2.6.2? only reason i saw that is thats what i did on dev site

Site installed plugin just fine but as soon as it finished and re activated bbpress plugin i could not access anything including backend. It would error with “site is experiencing technical difficulties” I could access backend in “recovery mode” but entire site was down. I have had 2.6rc7 installed on dev site for at least 6 months so not sure why it caused such a problem on live site? I did disable security and cache and i even put site in maintenance mode via theme option to keep members from posting while i did upgrade. Not sure if it was related to users still logged in or some plugin conflict but the dev site is running fine with same plugins only difference is no users logged in and no traffic

By crash I mean site was down only way to recover was to manually copy bbpress 2.5 plugin backup via ftp
Glad im reading tonight as i use same shortcode so will wait for 2.6.1
In reply to: Thank you for 2.6! finally!Yes funny in rc7 I would run tools but warning still stuck to run tools. Hope that goes away after tools are ran now. Thanks for the quick reply!
In reply to: May have to give up on bbpress :(@thebrandonallen I hope it helps. I almost want to try it now but no idea if it would break something. I do have a dev site maybe I could try it there for testing
In reply to: May have to give up on bbpress :(Is faster for sure. One thing I do notice and maybe I have a setting wrong but I think the reason submitting a post is slow is the cache is cleared at the same time a post is submitted? Seems that way but I may be wrong? Would make sense to get submitting the post over then clear cache and maybe that’s why I see a delay? I’m all for doing any tweaking to vps to improve things as much I can but my knowledge on this stuff is very little
In reply to: May have to give up on bbpress :(This may be a shocker but I think its faster!
In reply to: May have to give up on bbpress :(@siparker I think I took care of most of that? disabled all facebook stuff. fixed the style.css deal that was missing. not sure on jquwry.min but will look into that. will test tonight thank you for the tips! can you look again and see if I took care of at least a few of the issues?
In reply to: May have to give up on bbpress :(Interesting. I did disable all plugins and seems to be a bbpress issue?
I do allow subscribe to topic and even installed AsynCRONous bbPress Subscriptions plugin
oddly the only thing that seems to “help” is throttle posting every setting to “1” that seems to cut submitting down to around 6-12 seconds but that is still way to long.
I have wordfence installed and don’t think that scans anything during a post?
Also have wangaurd installed would need to check settings on that but don’t seem to be cause of issueIn reply to: May have to give up on bbpress :(fuskeren i do have a dev site up test.vpinball.com Ive spent so much time trying to get normal speed im at a loss at this point.
Well at least I know whats going on! thank you! I suppose I can create that account and just delete emails once a month. thanks for all the help you have been great
I will attach a link to some screen shots don’t see an attachment option here. What seems to be happening is members may subscribe but seems to be also sending to noreply@mydomian.com as well?
Here is Dropbox link to some screenshots
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/7wm80umxnjm5vfk/AADET2hXYDOGlRfFKxVVwcRXa?dl=0Correct. It seems to always email noreply@vpinball.com every single new post/topic in bbpress like I subscribed to everything but didn’t as I don’t even have a email setup for noreply@vpinball.com on anything. My searches on google came up with a people having same issue and from what I read it seems a core bbpress issue? but I find that hard to believe.
Kleo theme and many plugins. site is vpinball.com i have tried disabling plugins here and there but is still happening.
