    I went into the database and changed it.

    I went back into the php and changed the “[H]” to “”. On the front page, all of my forums except one, no longer have the [H]. The one forum which I had trouble with, still has one [H].

    What part of the admin back-end do I go to? I did a search on bb-admin for [H], nothing. You must mean in the database that I delete the [H]?

    CK, can you upload that first solution again that you removed? That worked for me. But I’ve overwritten that file, and I can’t remember the change.

    Where did you delete the double [H]?

    Downloaded from the plugin browser. Still double [H]. ‘Action’ is in five places in the php document.

    There is ‘action’ in five places. I will download again.

    I downloaded .0.4 again. The double [H] is back.

    I using .9, not 1.0 alpha. Same solution?

    Only one of the hidden forums had the double [H], the one that I edited the name, the others were single.

    I made the change you suggested. Back to single [H]. Thanks CK!

    Can you also check my other problem which relates to the hidden forum too?

    I using .9.0.2

    My theme is kakumei-blue with a few modifications like adding a background-image url, and some colour changes to text and posting box. I didn’t want to play with anything else until all the hidden forums were up and running. This discussion forum is all hidden forums.

    I think this problem originates with the hidden forum plugin. I am in the hidden forum, when I logout, then I have the above error. If I am on the front page, then I have no problems logging out.

    That worked for me. Thanks Chris!

    I forgot about dynamic addresses. Of course. Thank you.

    Back to my original question, why am I not seeing any IP listings for the last 30 posts? And I do have 30 posts.

    With so many structural changes underway in 1.0, will there be difficulties in upgrading from .9 to 1.0 stable?

    I didn’t see your post.

    BBPress Alpha is in its own database. All the tables appear to be there, numbering 12. This is a standalone BBPress. The only thing I have done differently is to put the hidden forums plugin in “my-plugins”, but it is not activated, nor are any other plugins like Askimet or Bozo.

    I restarted Firefox 2, checked cookies which was allowed for this site, and the same problem occurred. I didn’t mention before that after I click on the Register button, my username appears in the top left of the page, again with the form as I completed it. I also tried this in IE6 with cookies allowed too. The same problem occurred.

    When I register (click on the Register button) there appears to be a transfer. But then when all it done, I am still on the register page with the form filled in. I would think I would get a thank you, your password will be sent to you. And yes, the two required fields are filled in properly.

    I didn’t change the database table prefix from the default. This is the only table in the new database. The database says ‘bb_’, and bb.config.php says ‘bb_’. My keymaster shows up in ‘bb_users’. So if the keymaster is there, then the table prefix is not the problem. It is something else.

    The test registered name is not in my database, just the original keymaster user.

    I installed the alpha on its own database. When I test register, I am not sent a password, nor password sent when I try to recover password.

    I have a few forums using .9 on a single database. Can I also install 1.0 alpha for a new forum on the same database without any problems to my forums using .9?

    I inserted “path” into the search engine, and found my solution. Problem solved.

    @kannued

    In the old config, I could indicate the path. This is not available in the bb-config. Where do I indicate the path in the version 9.0.2?

    @kannued

    Now, when I call for the second forum, I get “Could not determine the site URI”. I double-checked my bb-config. The table-prefix is correct, and matches the database.
