I am trying your plugin but the tutorial is worded for people who know what they are doing. Can you simplify it for us simpletons?

if you have FTP access you can rename the smpt plugin folder to deactivate it and then try the lost password link again.

@ashfame, I emailed you. Yes I have all the WP files sent to me.
I get hosting from 1and1. For me to use php5 I have to put a line “AddType x-mapp-php5 .php” into the htaccess file when I don’t have that line I get a 500 error. On top of that WP one click update or install doesn’t work. I don’t know how to prove it to you.

The themes are made by PersonA (no ads). PersonB downloads it from PersonA’s website, puts in ads, and then uploads it to their site.
-wp-config.php file does NOT have “?>” at the end.
-make sure your hosting company is using php5. They might have it but not using it. Search on google “use php5 [hosting company’s name]” and you will find a tutorial. It usually means adding something to you .htaccess file.
-blank screen means it 98% time is a plugin that is activated.

in you bb-config & wp-config file you have double the keys? Just keep the ones that start with BB_ for bb-config and without the BB_ in wp-config. Try that first. Clear you cache. If that still doesn’t work try taking out the line define( ‘COOKIEHASH’, ‘abe2eb1549111222254c933716b86d46’ ); from bb-config only.
I have it done partly. The hold up is I wanted it to look closer to BuddyPress Group forum (http://testbp.org/forums/). I can just have bbpress look the way it does by default , that’s easy enough, would that be good enough for you?
