When you say trunk does that mean its fixed in the download link too?
I just received this error on the install screen just after it tells you it cannot find a config file. I changed my old one to config.old.php (received error) then to bb-config.old.php. (received error)

I then just had a funny feeling so I just changed the file name back to bb-config.php and when I went to my forums it said I needed a update.. updated and all seems well.
stupid question but Sam when you say beta are you referring to the alpha also?
Well from my past experience with phpbb and bbpress I have to say bbpress would be quicker for you and there are plugins that will allow you to do so.
@Chris You are my hero! I went in and deleted the bb tables and BAM all that work I did yesterday was worthless because they were still there.!
Tried to reinstall, deleted config first, no luck., deleted entire bbpress install., no luck.. I will try and fix tomorrow. 
bbpress live and bbpress intergration. I deactivated everything.. I think I might just delete the config file and start over again ughh..
I got alpha to work,. I then installed both bbpress plugins for wordpress. I went back to change user options in the bbpress admin panel and error messages came up.. goto http://willclan4food.net for details.. The error codes are popping up there

I agree I didnt have any issues with 0.9.0.3 and 2.7 It is stated if you want to run bbpress on a live site you need to go with the stable version.
