Are you using WordPress or WordPress MU for your blogging system? If so then the integration is really easy and simple. I would suggest taking a look at these tutorials:

the bbPress folks ought to consider hiring a team member or somebody to just work on importers. Without them it makes getting people to make the move just that much harder.
Why not just make a wordpress page? People would still be logged in to see it if you have an integrated installation.
To throw in my two cents… I personally would lean towards “themes.” My reasoning: since one of the biggest parts of bbPress is the WordPress integration, I believe bbPress and WordPress oughta use the same lingo for that. If a template author wants to do matching templates for bb and WordPress he’ll have to have the “Blank Theme” for WordPress and the “Blank Template” for bbPress. To me this adds to the confusion, and since WordPress has been around and people are used to theme, why make them have to learn more lingo?
As far as I know, bbPress does not currently support multiple groups (this may come later) so giving access to certain groups isn’t really possible. With the forum restriction plugin you could restrict certain folks, but unfortunately what you’re looking for isn’t here yet. Give it some time though, it may pop up soon enough.

Yeah, for some reason the timezone in your config.php file has to match your server’s (until 0.80 that is). So just play around until you get the right time (or if you already know it change it) and you should notice the times go back to normal.
Must say, I’m still unsure what’s causing the release to wait so long. That one ticket seems to be more of a personal problem and one that could be fixed later.
yeah, unfortunately at the moment the two need to be in the same database for the integration to work. You don’t necessarily need to reinstall, you can probably just copy your info from one db to the other.
bbpress and wordpress are installed in the same database?
have you added the wordpress plugin and activated it?

Uh…converting forum posts to wordpress posts sort of defeats the purpose of bbPress I think. Plus, if you have much of any posts it will eat up your database. Why exactly do you want to do this?
I think the easiest thing to do would be to just move over your bbpress install into the same database as your blog. I’m sure somebody here could probably help you modifying that plugin, but I feel like just moving would be much simpler.
