In reply to: Integrating bbpress into my own community website…
Are you using WordPress or WordPress MU for your blogging system? If so then the integration is really easy and simple. I would suggest taking a look at these tutorials:

In reply to: New Release: bbPress 0.8.1Cool stuff. I like the new sticky colors by the way.
In reply to: Importing from vanillaIs there a vanilla to phpbb deal? That seems like the easiest way to go…
the bbPress folks ought to consider hiring a team member or somebody to just work on importers. Without them it makes getting people to make the move just that much harder.
In reply to: Create a new Custom Page (Like WordPress)? Why not just make a wordpress page? People would still be logged in to see it if you have an integrated installation.
In reply to: Why not stick to “theme”To throw in my two cents… I personally would lean towards “themes.” My reasoning: since one of the biggest parts of bbPress is the WordPress integration, I believe bbPress and WordPress oughta use the same lingo for that. If a template author wants to do matching templates for bb and WordPress he’ll have to have the “Blank Theme” for WordPress and the “Blank Template” for bbPress. To me this adds to the confusion, and since WordPress has been around and people are used to theme, why make them have to learn more lingo?
In reply to: bbPress 0.8 in IndonesianHere is an impromptu list: http://proforums.palmansworld.com/localization/
In reply to: Plugin: bbMenu 1.0In reply to: Group Access for ForumsAs far as I know, bbPress does not currently support multiple groups (this may come later) so giving access to certain groups isn’t really possible. With the forum restriction plugin you could restrict certain folks, but unfortunately what you’re looking for isn’t here yet. Give it some time though, it may pop up soon enough.
In reply to: Theme: Redox for bbPress 0.80Yeah. it looks nice, I just can’t read spanish so I didn’t know what all the post says.
In reply to: Theme: Redox for bbPress 0.80Ah. So is it just an updated version? Are there any new changes?
In reply to: Theme: Redox for bbPress 0.80As far as I can tell this theme also doesn’t really change anything from the refresh theme.
In reply to: bbPress 0.8 “Desmond” Released!Somebody oughta update the forummatrix.org page for bbPress. mdawaffe is the only one who can, so by somebody I mean him.
In reply to: Template: Binary Moon Onvertigo ThemeJust to remind everyone, you ca read more about it and see a screenshot here

In reply to: bbPress version 0.80 in TurkishGood job, added to the Pro Forums localization pages: proforums.palmansworld.com/localization/
In reply to: BB Scene 1.0really nice. Is it available for download yet? I’d love to feature it on my website.
In reply to: what’s up with the “-1 years”Yeah, for some reason the timezone in your config.php file has to match your server’s (until 0.80 that is). So just play around until you get the right time (or if you already know it change it) and you should notice the times go back to normal.
In reply to: 8.0Must say, I’m still unsure what’s causing the release to wait so long. That one ticket seems to be more of a personal problem and one that could be fixed later.
In reply to: How to block access to bbPress… but not WPYou could try this plugin: https://bbpress.org/plugins/topic/27?replies=1
In reply to: Can’t get WordPress and bbPress to integrateyeah, unfortunately at the moment the two need to be in the same database for the integration to work. You don’t necessarily need to reinstall, you can probably just copy your info from one db to the other.
In reply to: Can’t get WordPress and bbPress to integratebbpress and wordpress are installed in the same database?
In reply to: Can’t get WordPress and bbPress to integratehave you added the wordpress plugin and activated it?
In reply to: Are there any localization files? For anyone interested, I’ve got a list of all the current translations going. If you have one that isn’t there I’d love to add it.
Check it out here: http://proforums.palmansworld.com/localization/
In reply to: phpbb -> bbpress -> wordpressUh…converting forum posts to wordpress posts sort of defeats the purpose of bbPress I think. Plus, if you have much of any posts it will eat up your database. Why exactly do you want to do this?
In reply to: Latest bbPress Posts In WordPressI think the easiest thing to do would be to just move over your bbpress install into the same database as your blog. I’m sure somebody here could probably help you modifying that plugin, but I feel like just moving would be much simpler.
In reply to: Plugin: bbMenu 0.1 betaForgot to say this before, but this looks really sweet.
