How does that will let people switch hosts by just filling up the config file then?
In reply to: Need a copy of the following themesok thanks
In reply to: Need a copy of the following themesI will take a note of that. I hope any of your theme is not listed above.
And I got no evil intentions
In reply to: new website doesn't work properlyAlso the subscription link is not present in this theme.
In reply to: Install trouble (URL is incorrect) template swap?the plugin is not enabled, try checking its settings..
my-templates folder should have 775 permissions to work. if you dnt what permissions are, then follow this link – http://blog.ashfame.com/2009/09/fix-my-templates-my-plugins-folder-not-working-bbpress/
In reply to: new website doesn't work properlyAlso the profile page, edit profile page and favorites page need attention.
Profile page lists recent replies and topics started twice.
Other two need some CSS styling
In reply to: Need a copy of the following themesNow that some of the gold members () are back, I would like to know if the can provide any of the theme listed here.
In reply to: How to recover passwordIt should be
wp_
instead of_wp
It looks like that you don’t have shared tables as of now. Try the admin account with which you installed bbPress.
In reply to: Intermittent 'page not found' on valid ulsAre you sure?
My local install works fine (returns 200 header code) when I use
wp-blog-header.php
Ok! In case you just want to check/learn, compare both the bb-config.php files to see what was wrong.
In reply to: bbpress-theme-switcher with WP?Ahh.. When you are providing such service why not build up themes which don’t depend on deep integration. Its only difficult for the beginners.
And regarding building up a demo of such themes, I think it can be done somehow if you bluff bbPress by changing the value of fetched data related to active WP theme (I think those are 3 values) and then it should work fine.
database name, username, password & hostname
These are the only four things you need and since you mention only the username and passwords are changed, this even narrow down.
Is there a possibility your host changed things for a particular hostname only (that script was intended for your WP hostname only and bbPress is on a different hostname)?
And since you are using deep integration, I guess it has to do something with the WordPress loading before and conflicting with the bbPress db connection somehow.
Where is your deep integration line in bb-config.php? Before where bb db settings are defined. right?
In reply to: new user email with passwordFirst thing to check – Does your host allow you to send mails?
How – http://blog.ashfame.com/2010/03/check-mail-sending-capabilities-webhost/
In the second section, instead of
wp-load.php
, do it withbb-load.ph
p and come back with results. Were you using the same database for bbPress? If yes, then you can get the details from wp-config.php file and just copy over the values
Thanks! They should be up in a few days. I will announce here
In reply to: bbpress-theme-switcher with WP?And why is that? Do you use deep integration for creating those themes?
In reply to: Welcome Back _ck_Me too insanely happy about her come back.. I literally jumped out to realize if I am not dreaming..haha
I have cleaned up all the code from those theme files and will be hosting them shortly.
And I can’t express how happy I am to see you back
In reply to: Problem with WordPress User Role MapIn reply to: Errors in bbPress – seen on the Official forumsExactly!
In reply to: bbpress login & registration in wpYou should consider integrating both WordPress and bbPress to have login synchronization (loggin into one will make you login for the other too and the same goes with logout)
In reply to: bbpress login & registration in wpYes! Copy the code for bbPress login (html) and paste it into a widget, it should work.
In reply to: move forum to subdomainah yes.. Thanks zaerl!
In reply to: Errors in bbPress – seen on the Official forumsI totally agree with Chris on this.
Thanks Chris for explaining!
Did you file a bug on Trac? Recounting functions are there for use in case counts go out of sync and not to be used regularly because bbPress shouldn’t mess up with counts by its own functions.
follow this tutorial – http://blog.ashfame.com/2009/09/fix-lost-admin-access-bbpress/
just use
a:1:{s:6:"member";b:1;}
instead ofa:1:{s:9:"keymaster";b:1;}
