I’ve pushed out a new stable version today as a fairly major flaw was discovered that affected users of the previous stable release 0.9.0.2
The flaw meant that regular users could not edit their own email address at all via their profile page. Which sounds like it would be something that would take less than 8 months to float to the surface, but there you go.
This release contains some other less important changes as well which you can view here.
The release is recommended for all users of current bbPress 0.9.x versions.
These are the only files that need to be replaced on a 0.9.0.2sp1 install:

Awesome! Great job guys/girls 🙂
Any word on when 1.0 might be coming? Not asking for a set date, just something lose like “this month”, or January.
When might we expect the 1.0 release?
Is it not time for a tighter integration between bbPress and WP as of now?
I was really hoping for full integration of WP, bbPress, BuddyPress and (possibly) IDebate by this years end. I think there are quite a few of us waiting for this to happen.
That is coming in bbPress 1.0 which gets closer all the time.
Update bbPress. Thank you to all work.
You know, users not being able to edit their email address could be considered a feature. Say you have someone hiding their identity and they register with a real email address so they receive the password. Then, immediately after they modify the email address to hide who they really are? I think I’d rather have that and have people email the keymaster to modify their email, because they cannot, rather than have them be able to change their email address.
