This plugin, like the road to hell is frustratingly promising but totally useless. The alarm bells started going off when it spammed the admin user and the 'users blocked' counter incremented every time I logged in.

Then came the registration page that would never submit, and of course I had to wonder if my email address was being sent to the central database each time.

Plugin permanently deleted.

it is caughting the email addresses, not usernames....what should I do?

usera: If you're using adaptive mode, people between the minimum and maximum will be able to solve a recaptcha to log in.

I entered my recaptcha public/private key and I don't see any recaptcha. Am I missing something?

As a follow-up, I reverted back to no-spam-user version 0.7.1, and the problem disappeared. So, something in the change from 0.7.1 to 0.8 is causing the problem.

I recently upgraded to bb-n0-spam-user version 0.8, on bbPress 1.0.2.

When I did so, my register.php page started returning 500 internal server errors.

Any clue what the problem might be?

It's supposed to stay checked when it sees code it knows would be filtered, but iframe for some reason slips by the check, that much is a bug. However you still need to check it before you save.

I see the checkbox (unchecked)... and it doesn't stay checked if I check it and then save the post.

I'll try the upgrade (once I read the stuff about upgrading). :)

You should definitely upgrade to 0.9.0.5 as it's only a few files changed but important bug fixes.

Are you seeing the checkbox for the plugin to override the posting restrictions?
If the box is not checked, it's not activated.

Maybe you don't see the box because of your bbPress version.

Yeah... I'm still on version 0.903 (I think). I've used the download code.

You can see what I'm talking about on this post. When I view the post, I see the iframe code posted.
