I am moderator on a BBpress forum that is being set up, I am trying to set up the forum topics, which I am able to do, however I cannot see how to set up sub topics.
I want to set up something like:
Your Music
Your video recordings
Your audio recordings
The user will then be able to post to the Video and audio topics.
When setting up the topics, I get the Topic Attributes options of the ‘forum name’ or ‘no parent’. I do not get any option to set the parent to ‘Your Video recordings’.

I need to decide if WP is the way to go or build something from scratch in Laravel/ASP.NET MVC.
I need to be able to:
-Each user will have its private area (more than one private forum)
-Will have to be able to tag/categorize their forum posts
-Need for a way to store bbpress content encrypted in db.
Virtually i need to be able to create a network of private diaries (of course it will not be only that but that is the core).
Should i go full custom?

I need to change fields a user needs to enter when commenting on a forum, need to change fields like “Mail” to “E-mail” and remove fields like “website”,which file do i need to access so i can change this, i tried “form-user-edit.php” but didnt work, please see link below on the kinda fields i need changed.

I have one user on my BBPress application where all of his posts on a topic in a forum go to status ‘Pending’. Even if I turn off all other plugins this still happens. However, if I change his email then his posts are automatically approved.
How can I remove his email from the ‘blacklist’ if there is such a thing in BBPress. I

I am very new to this so I’m not very technical.
I need to restrict users to only be able to reply to topics I make as the admin and not make new topics themselves. How can I do this?

There was another thread about this but I didn’t find the solution. In the nexgen gallery I can’t drag and drop galleries into albums to create sub galleries -I’m dragging to the selected album (selected on left) but it won’t nest the gallery within the album. Someone please help.

I’ve just installed bbPress plugin to my WP, with the idea to import Mingle forums but “Getting There” is not getting me anywhere as there is no Import Forums tab.
The only tabs there are All Forums and New Forum
Am I in the wrong place or…?

Hi Guys,
I am trying to create a page which will show the following:
1) 3 topics with >19 replies (with paging)
2) 20 topics with <20 replied (with separate paging).
Ideally this will be done via AJAX so people can switch between the views without reloading the page.
Any suggestions on the right way to implement this?

As in the topic. Application displays not found message and bbp_has_topics() returns FALSE. I don’t even know how to debug it. Any idea?
