Is there a way to have a specific user group receive an email every time someone posts a tread in a certain category?

I used shortcode to only display one forum in a Learndash course I created. I have older forums that are only assigned to other courses. But now the forum displayed in my new course is showing topics/ threads from older forums. I cannot for the life of me figure out why they would be appearing here! I don’t want customers in this course to see older threads from other courses.

I need help fixing this issue with my forum the staging site works fine! The production site does not, I have talked to wordpress support and they couldn’t figure it out either. Everything is the same… How do I fix this issue. Everytime I post to the forum I have to clear cache and cookies to see it. but it works just fine on test site? SOMEBODY HELP! I’m having a problem with the forum search results page, it is alwyays fullwidth and I’m not sure how to address it. I’m using the Divi theme and the Divi theme builder, which works fine with all the other forum pages and subpages, just the search results page is not addressed. The width should be 1250 px. I hope you can help me out.

It appears that while I’m inputting text into the New/Reply Topic Input box, by default the formatting tags are displayed.

Is it possible to have the formatting being applied as soon as it’s selected, e.g. a word highlighted & then formatted to be bold, is shown as bold immediately, rather than in the html tags in preparation for making it bold once the topic /reply is submitted?

I added blog to site but it keeps taking me to homepage with clicking on topics and categories. Also why is it so difficult to use the forum it suppose to be made for wordpress. Also, why is it that noone can walk me through each step instead of sending information that is not useful for someone who is not good at code?

I have exported my clients Users, Forums, Topics and Replies from their existing setup as I am rebuilding on a staging subdomain. However, after import, I am not seeing most of the replies when I go into the forums…

We have been having issues with the existing setup, which is part of the reason for the rebuild. Is there a way to manually move the data from the databases maybe? Or some other way to get the replies showing properly??

Hi, I’ve been seeing that it is generally suggested to use the bbpress importer to get the data from kunena, but in my case it freezes in step 1 and I guess it’s because of the version difference (since bbpress importer has support until kunena3).

I am looking to migrate a kunena forum in joomla to bbpress with wordpress. The kunena version is 6.x. Is there any way to do it?

WordPress version: 6.3.1
Bbpress version: 2.6.9

Hi I’m a total beginner so I’m sorry for my ignorance. The font of the forums is very small. I would like to change the look of the forum. Is there a plugin or something to easily modify the look? I don’t really want to change my theme to change the look of the forum. And I don’t know how to change a layout with CSS. Thanks.

I don’t like the „Topic type“(sticky/super sticky) and „Topic status“ (closed, spam, trash, pending) showing on my forum. I don’t even know what purpose this serves and the guests on my site using this forum would probably not know it either. So how do I delete it?
