I posted earlier in this thread: https://bbpress.org/forums/topic/787
but i see it is marked as [Resolved] so people probably arent reading it.
I just freshly installed bbPress and after the install and setup I am unable to add a new topic or reply to existing topics. There is no link to add new topics/reply/etc…
The prior thread said it could be due to mod_rewrite, so I deleted my .htaccess file and turned mod_rewrite off in my config file and it still isnt working.
Any ideas? The link for the forum is http://www.mmahq.com/forums/
Would it be possible NOT to get an email when it’s your OWN post?
I like the ‘freshness’ and all but how do I show the exact date of a post? Preferably at the bottom of the actual post (where currently a repeat of the freshness is)
Is there a plugin that will let you navigate by previous/next thread (when reading a thread) and/or previous/next forum (when looking at a forum)
i like this small board software
and “Open Source, always and forever” sound realy good to me but what sort of license is used?
GPL? LGPL? MIT? BSD? PublicDomain?
i think this is a very important informationen for many users but i cant find anything
I use the dutch translation in my forum. Unfortunately, the words “day”, “month” etc. in the functions have not been have not been modified by the translation. Where can I change the “%s” parameter used in various functions?
if i add a role in my forums, it just doesn’t display. for example: i have an user called ‘gregory’ with role member. i give him a custom role called ‘muppet’ and it doesn’t display, i still see ‘member’.
as you know, we can fill this fields in ‘edit profile’ section. unfortunately i just can’t translate it in functions file; it just doesn’t change. – and this is first problem.
the second is that i want to have this options displayed in profile page. how can i get these variables from the array?
Hi,
How do I display the current users username, like it does at the top of these forums “Welcome, USERNAME!”
I searched around, and looked in the “template-functions.php” file, but found nothing.
Thanks
Hello all,
When I installed bbpress intially, everything worked fine. After about a month of use though, the email message is not being sent during registration. I assume this might be due to a change with my host (dreamhost) but I don’t have any idea where to start looking for the problem.
I also have many wordpress blogs installed across dreamhost and have experienced no such problem on any of them.
Can someone please point me in a direction (to test) that might lead to a solution?
Thanks
Ryan
