I just tried installing bbpress, did everything as it said and when I go to the install page i get this message:

I go through GoDaddy on a Linux server so it supports everything bbpress needs…I’m not sure where the error lies..
How can we get rid of topic or forum in the permanent links

But i want like

and
my forums links
http://www.mysite.com/forum/wordpress/
but i want like

how can i do this
Is there a way to style the text of only the first post for each topic? I know how to style every alternating post but I can’t figure out how to style just the first entry…
I’m wondering if a non-key master can edit a key master’s account. I’m worried about admins accidentally modifying my account and then removing my key master privelages or changing my password, literally destroying the forums.
Are admins and lower blocked from editing key masters?
If not, how can I do so?
I used a plugin at https://bbpress.org/plugins/topic/63?replies=4#post-695
for signatures, and it works great except that other users aren’t able to choose a signature. The signature option isn’t available for users other than the key master. Is this supposed to happen? If not, how may I fix this problem so other users can have a signature as well?
Hey all, I need some help. Basically, I don’t want the post form showing up on any of the main pages but instead, I’d like to create a separate page called newpost.php that contains only the post form that I can link to from all appropriate pages. But when I create this page and try hitting it, it either cannot be found by typing in /bbpress/newpost.php or shows up as a blank page when I type in the full url to the theme (bbpress/bb-templates/theme/newpost.php).
Any ideas on how to get this to work?

If we can collect and organize these solutions well, we can be more easier to help. I did a small change on the main page, not really start to write something. I took a while to write those new entries, it’s harder than I can imagine. I can’t make them systematic. And that’s still not good, but collaboration can correct mistakes and build a great stuff.

can someone program a plugin to insert the user’s Twitter status in the .threadauthor? perhaps below the username? just an idea if anyone’ll do it.
Is there a way to print out the password after someone registers instead of sending an email? My web host won’t allow sending emails through web pages. I looked at topics already written but I was unable to implement the code because I have version 8.3. If anyone can give me the code I have to add or modify, that would be great.
