Hi, I have wp 313 and bbpress 102. I tried to integrate them following the instructions available at Docs, but I got the famous “User doesn’t exist” error. I tried to find a solution to this problem but those suggested in the forum do not work. What can I do?
This didn’t work so well for me. No sooner did I update than all three of my forums disappeared from the Forum Index page.
Lucky for me my backup ducks were in a row. I restored 2.0-beta-2b and all was well. Phew.
I guess I’ll have to hang loose for a while and see what happens.
Howdy,
Is there a way to allow uploads or images in posts when using the plugin? I’m not finding any information on that.
If not, I’ll have to go with the standalone install, but would obviously rather run the plugin.
Thank you much!
Hello
Great plugin, can’t wait for final release.
I have question about avatars in beta 2. Is there any way to give user possibility to change it?
Hi everyone,
I’m wondering if there would be a way to create two simple buttons for bbpress. They would be:
Show unread posts since last visit.
Show new replies to your posts.
Those are part of Simple Machines Forums and make it really easy to sort through posts.
Also, could there be an “insert image” button for replies. It’s kind of a pain to explain HTML to new users.
Thanks!
From one of my members:
“when we click subscribe, it works like it should. however after i go back to the thread and reply to someone’s message WITHOUT checking the little box “Notify me of follow-up replies via email”, i will be unsubscribe from the thread”
Is this a bug? Or maybe just a behavior that hasn’t been fully thought out? Seems to me that unless I go explicitly unsubscribe from a thread, I shouldn’t be unsubscribed when I add to that thread. Yes? No? Maybe?

should all of the CSS be modifiable by editing the bbp-twenty ten/css file? the only reason i ask is because after playing (extensively) with the file, it still renders poorly; some elements (link color, font size, tables, forum listing etc) – regardless of how much i edit – remain unchanged.
i wonder if this is related to the customized theme that i purchased, or if i’m missing the obvious.
thanks
I just checked out that awesome plugin (or theme?) from Automattic: http://p2theme.com/
I was wondering if it is possible to incorporate it into bbpress 2.0?
I started to use the bbPress plugin version for WordPress because i wanted by users to only have to log in once to get into both my WordPress and my associated bbPress forums.
I also liked the fact that for me behind the scenes, the bbPress plugin admin is within the WordPress admin… but this is not as important to me as the above shared login point.
Anyway, the bbPress plugin has plagued me with bugs, as it is apparently only a beta version.
So, seeing as the standalone bbPress is more developed, I am thinking of using that. I just assumed that my users would have to log in twice if implement the standalone bbPress – is this the case? If you can get the standalone to share user login with WordPress, then i will use that!!
Thanks.
