Hi,

Hi,
Is there a way to censor my bbPress forum?
Thanks in advance!
I have a WP blog for which I needed a forum and bbPress was my choice. However, the WP theme I am using for the blog has a get_posts() query on the sidebar to display the 3 latest blog posts. Now after installing the bbPress it shows only the bbPress forum topics, since that is the latest 3 activity on the site. How do I stop bbPress forums topics form showing up as posts in the sidebar?
If asking for help, please include your WordPress version, bbPress version, and a link to your site.
If you have a problem while using a non-bundled theme, check if it happens with TwentyTen or TwentyEleven.
If you found a bug, please create a trac ticket with detailed duplication steps.

Hi, just installed last version of bbPress in my WP 3.4.2 and after activating the plugin the main wp-admin page went blank
what is it?
Not sure where to report this, but if I click on “topics started” under my username, I’m getting 4 year old topics from someone else, and not the one I started last week. Sounds like a bug, where should I report this? Thanks, Ian
How do you do it?
I am new to bbpress and setting up a forum in my blog. I want the sharing buttons to not show in the forum’s name. I go to the edit forum page, uncheck the “Show sharing buttons.” but, when I update it, it ‘re-checks’. I am unable to uncheck them no matter how many times I do it.
Further, if i go to Appearance/Elbee Elgee settings (my theme)/bbpress I check “Disable Sidebar Widget Areas:” and/or “Disable Footer Widget Areas” and save changes. Once updated and saved, the boxes always remain unchecked.
I have been to setting/sharing checked and unchecked everything but it simply won’t take the changes I requiere. I would appreciate any help you can provide.
When you’re logged in and go to leave a comment it says ‘Logged in as ‘user’. Log Out?’ I would like the word ‘user’ to link to the users bbpress profile thats set up instead of the wordpress profile in the backend.

I know very little about php and how to make it work but I’m good with html and css.
Using Compatibility version: bbpress is calling upon my main sidebar widget area. Where is this code? I created a new widget area in functions.php in my existing theme called “Forum Sidebar” so that I can put my bbpress widgets as a sidebar on the forum. (I have added widget areas successfully before). I created one forum category here: http://musiclearningcommunity.com/wordpress/forums/forum/maximize-music-learning/ In every php document in bbp-theme-compat, I replaced:
(I can’t get my code to show up!) argh.
with the following: ….
I do not see any changes – my main sidebar persists. Thank you for your help! Theme: Addington, bbPress version: 2.1.2, website: http://www.musiclearningcommunity.com/wordpress`
Hi there – I have a forum on a membership site running:
bbpress 2.1.2, buddypress 1.6.1, wordpress 3.4.2
with a premium theme.
The site owners have asked if we can add the ability for users to upload photos and embed video into forum posts. The rich tinyMCE editor doesn’t include the standard media uploader button, and even though in my Settings for bbPress I have the option to embed video/flickr/etc checked, when I paste the code in it defaults to a link instead of the embed object. I’m not very familiar with either bbPress or buddypress, so any help is greatly appreciated. I’ve attached a screenshot of the current forum editor.
Because the site is a membership site and the forums are protected, the link won’t help much but here it is: www.innercircletheater.com.
I’m more than happy to pay someone to implement these components. Also, I’ve tried adding the bbpress post tools plugin, but it breaks my theme.
Thanks!
Shannon
