Hey guys,
Is it possible to turn off those advertisement links? I have them all over my website right now, while we wish to not have any advertisements.
Hey guys,

Hi,
I’m having problems getting my forum members to see my forum and the latest posts. I had set the forum to private, but that turned out to force members to log in to see the forum (most of my members don’t have one).
So I set the forum to public. The forum is now visible when I’m not logged in. But now I discovered NEW posts won’t show up unless I’m logged in! The same happened to a forum member who does have a WP login.
The posts in question are set to public. The site can be found at here.
Please, I’m looking for any solution that’s not time consuming (I’ve spent too much time trying to get this forum to work already) and I know next to nothing about code, so that wouldn’t be a viable option for me. I hope someone can come up with a solution that finally gets this forum going.
Thank you.
Is it possible to not have the “forums base” archive slug show up as a breadcrumb when browsing around in my forums and topics?
I want it to just say “forum” (without the “s”), but then it conflicts with my “forum slug” which is “forum”.
Hope I’m able to describhe my problem properly, any help is much appreciated.
I have WordPress 3.5.1 and bbPress 2.2.4
Hi,
I have a problem on my forum : http://monleap.fr/forum
I activated the Fancy Editor on my settings page but it not show. Somebody could help me please ?
I just set up a test site with WP 3.5.1, then added bbPress 2.2.4 and then added BuddyPress 1.6.4. I’m using site wide forums.
Plugins:
Alismet (not activated)
bbPress
BuddyPress
Custom CSS Manager
Hello Dolly (not activared)
PlugNedit (not activated)
Since this is new I don’t mind removing plugins (including bbPress and BuddyPress) and resinstalling. I don’t care about Custom CSS Manager, so it can go if needed.
I did notice that the directories “forums”, “forums/forum” and “forums/topic” were not created.
Could it have been the order in which I installed bbPress and BuddyPress?
Mormally I’d start from scratch, but after spending the last two weeks upgrading forums, etc software on multiple sites and then doing a server upgrade in order to run WP I’m a bit tired of looking at my computer 🙂
Thanks in advance!
I’m just wondering if there is a way to automatically permanently delete all replies and topics marked as spam from the database. The spam filter is doing a decent job of keeping spam off the forum, but it’s being logged in the back end. Is there anyway to not allow BBPress to save this data and to permanently delete it immediately?
Hello All,
I just installed bbPress on my dev site for a potential client. It was pretty straight forward out the box. I was wondering if there is a way to have the forum handle the comments for my blog posts. The idea is to create a blog post and then upon submission, the post would create a topic in the forum for my users to comment on. Hopefully someone has done this and I can get a little help in this area.
Thanks!
The website has a heading 1 for the page title and breadcrumbs. Both the page heading and the breadcrumbs think that any page within the bbpress forums is within the “blog” section. So the heading 1 says “blog” and the breadcrumbs say home > blog > topic name
Note: the breadcrumbs that come with bbpress work fine.
The site is located here: http://healthmeditating.com/forums/topic/how-do-i-meditate/
Running WordPress 3.5.1.
Running bbpress 2.2.4
Using theme Sterling from themeforest -http://themeforest.net/item/sterling-responsive-wordpress-theme/2320578
One other problem that may be related is that wordpress also triggers the Blog menu item link as the current_menu_item (thus highlighting it in the main menu). I can override this with css so I am not overly worried about it but thought it worth mentioning. I notice that this problem is actually a reported bug in bbpress and is being worked on.
Thanks in advance to anyone who as any ideas,
Bodhi McGee
Any idea how he got his forum to display all posts like this – http://themehybrid.com/support/ . My bbpress page just shows the forum titles then you have to click to get to the different topics, etc.
