Published on March 14th, 2013 by Adam

When on the front end and viewing a form you have a Home->forms->form name if I click on forms, i get otice: Undefined index: feeds in /var/www/wordpress/wp-includes/link-template.php on line 871

I am making my own theme, It is compatible with bbpress and I have NO other plugins. any ideas?

I only have one form btw.

Created private forum, but title is "Private: Private: Own Your Mission Forum"

Published on March 13th, 2013 by

Just named it “Own Your Mission”, understand if it needs to prefix it as “private”, but why twice?

Using it on a Premise membership site with their plugin, but don’t think it’s that.

Thoughts please?

Thanks,
Adan

Problem going from bbpress 1.2 to 2.2.4

Published on March 12th, 2013 by XIIIzen

Hi there folks!

This has been frustrating, my forum used to be an stand alone version 1.0.2

As suggested in another tread, I updated first to 1.2, that process went smoothly, so I thought I was close to victory, but so far it still eludes me!

Each time i try to import the old forums using the 2.2.4 forum import function with my DB Name, DB User, DB Pass, DB prefix (default bb_) , it runs the process smoothly saying there is no users to import, no forums to import and so on.

Is there a step I may be missing?

Related Topics

Hello!
I need a plugin to create related topics in topics, not in posts or pages.
My site is a Forum based in topics. The posts are redirected to topics using Page Links To plugin.
I tried Yet Another Related Posts Plugin but it does for post and pages only…
Does anyone know a plugin for this ??

I’m using WP 3.5.1 and BBpress 2.2.4.

Thanks!

Forum Now Widget

Published on March 12th, 2013 by David

Is there a widget you can add that will show the most recently updated posts and new topics combined? I know there is one for replies, and one for topics, but I would like to be able to just have one sidebar widget rather than two.

Serving menu based on forum parent

Published on March 12th, 2013 by SimonFullSteam

I am building a site that is constructed of hubs with a parent forum as the base.

At the moment I serve a different menu to /PARENT1/ and /PARENT2/ and that works fine until they go into a topic as then the /PARENTX/ slug disappears, along with the parent menu.

Is there a way I can find out which parent forum the user is in to serve a set menu or header?

BBpress 404 error, Conflict with wpsc ticket support plugin

Published on March 12th, 2013 by hechao

I have bbpress installed on my site, when I log in with a test normal account (participant), and click on forum page, I just got 404 error.

I deactive all the plugins, and check one by one, finally I found this plugin caused this 404 error, okay, I found the problem, but I don’t know how to fix it 😀 I don’t want to deactive any more either forever.

Thank you in advance.

Double or Multiple replies showing at top and bottom of page

Published on March 11th, 2013 by adrake9

bbp 2.2.4 , wp 3.5.1
I’m getting some very peculiar results with bbpress. I’ve got a forum setup and when someone replies it puts a duplicate post at the top of the page along with the reply at the bottom. I’ve been able to recreate it on my machine locally too. I’m using threaded replies and I changed the default order of the topic replies to “DESC” in the functions file. I’ve rolled back all of my changes and its still happening.

Also when I reply to a post it takes me to a new page which seems peculiar.
