Since upgrading to 2.5 from 2.3, some paragraph breaks have shown up between forum rows on the main landing page:

You can see thin transparent strips between the rows that show the page background underneath. Is there any way to remove these breaks?

My BBPress plugin isn’t appearing in my WP menu. I installed it as instructed and the widgets are appearing but I can’t add new forums from my main WP menu.

Is anybody else having this problem. Does someone know how to fix this please?

I’m using the latest versions of WP and BBpress.

I have a site where if I reply to an existing thread and then want to edit my reply once posted, clicking the “edit” link lands me at some other forum post.

Really baffled by this????

Hello people of bbPress.
I’m having one weird issue with my bbPress forum on the website I’m building.
I can’t quite let you see it, but I have attached an image.

I’m quite sure that this isn’t a CSS error, but rather some HTML bug of some kind.
I what I can’t figure out is where this is in the code.
The forum is adding “split” attributes to its elements, I’ve tried removing those.

What I’m wondering is, is this a HTML bug or is this a bug in a php loop?
Please answer this as soon as possible.

Hi,
I have a small problem with the allowed edit time for participants.
At first it never showed up, until I set it to 600 minutes (standard I had 60min)

So I tried to increase the settings by 60 minutes to see when the edit link would show.
For me it is 420+ minutes. 420 minutes is 7 hours and my WP/Forum is set to UTC +7.00 hours.

So I solved it by setting the allowed edit time to 480 minutes, which gives participants in reality 60 minutes.

I am using the theme hueman, the latest WordPress, all up to date and have asked this question in their support but have still not received a reply.

I have one small problem with User Profiles and that is there are no sidebars showing at all, The sidebars are present in the forum just not the profiles and also in some other forum stats pages examples:

I really love bbPress and have been gratefully using it on my website.

No disrespect intended, and just a friendly request for consideration,…

Would it be possible to make the backtick functionality for posting optional?
Ie. a setting in the config page saying something like “Use backticks for code posting”?

I’m running into situations where the actual content a user wants post should have backticks in it, without the filtering modifying it (for example shell related code examples).

Modifying the core files of bbPress is of course not a real option, just a temporary bandaid at best, and I know others have been looking into the backtick debacle as well (for example GhettoBSD).

Does anyone know of a plugin that would allow me to assign specific users custom ranks so that I may customize the way their forum posts look? It could be as simple as assign a user a rank 1-10 and add a class to the user’s forum post container.

This way I could set up administrators and ranked users to stand out while speaking in the forums. Example of a site doing this for members who have supported their game http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/667888

Just wondering, is there a plugin that I can use in the sidebar that includes results for all wp posts and bbpress forums, topics and replies?

I am presently using Relevanssi, and I like it, but it does not seem to include bbpress forums, topics and replies.

After i installed “bbPress WP Tweaks” my themeside sidebar was not shown but as clicked under forums and topic the sidebar reappears.

How can i remove this sidebar.??
