I’ve installed bbPress, I’m using the latest version of bbPress and WordPress.

I’m not sure why but the root forum page and profile page is just showing plan text.

These two page show up with just flat text.

While these pages (forum and topic) actually show up with the tables and so.

Also how do I go about removing the blue status bar and the share and infobar at the bottom?

I am new to bbpress and trying to set up a forum for my website. I have major difficukties with the right sidebar. With the help of older topics and posts I wasn’t able to get the bbpress-sidebar with bbpress tweaks going but with the plugin widget logic I finally had success (partially).
The problem I still have is, that the chosen widgets do show on the default forum index page, but do not show on any further bbpress pages (forum, topics, …)
Can you help?

Is there any way i can allow my forum users to +1 a post just like we like a post in facebook?

Hi, I’m trying to add the widget.php into my Child Theme, so I can make an edit…However, any change I make to the widget.php within my child theme, does not work….Is there a specific location within the Child Theme that I need to place the file in?

This is the 2nd time I have lost all posts. Don’t think I can rely on this forum software any more. As normal all topics remain, and even the displayed number of posts remain correct, just inside all the posts have vanished, and from the admin area.

This is definitely a bug, few people have posted about it happening.

Everything is up-to-date! Disabled plugins too… Any ideas?

I seem to have the latest bbPress Version 2.5.3 however there is an issue with the submit button? is there a way of resolving this please as people are unable to participate in my forum. the link is http://zambianmusiccharts.com/forums/forum/general-discussions/ in order to create a new topic i had to create it internally but not all users can do that. Hello Community, I have bbpress install on my wordpress localhost site to test some functionalities. Currently i have contango theme installed. My problem is with the search result of the forum. Search the forum with topic titles i have created result in a different display. The search result display only the first blog content of a newly installed wordpress and nothing relating to forum search.

Why am I not getting the forum search results page? but rather gets the normal wordpress search results page?

I am not a programmer but fairly understand the technical details. Can any one help me.

I’d like to create a forum where people are able to moderate their own topics (i.e the topics they created). I’m looking for 2 features (plugins ?) :
– let people delete messages in the topics they created
– let people ban another member from the topics they created (or make the topic invisible for a list of members)

Have you heard of anything like that with bbPress ?
