Hello,
Currently my bbpress forums do not show any information underneath an author info:

I am wondering how I can turn on this so I can display more info, such as name, user name, type of user etc.
This is an live example:

Thank you,
I have a bbPress installation with several forums and topics. I can enter replies and it appears to be saving the post when I click on Submit but the post never shows up, and it does not show up via the dashboard either. What gives and how do I fix this? Thanks.
If we run bbPress on a subsite of a WordPress Multisite installation, administrators of the subsites can’t change a user’s capability. Has anyone written a plugin to allow admins to change a user’s forum role?
I have the bbPress Login Widget on my forum page, but when a user logs in it takes them to the dashboard. I want them to stay on the forum page. Also, logging out takes the user to a generic WP login page, and logging in from that also takes the user to the dashboard. Is there any way to keep the user on the page the log in or log out from? Thanks.
I just installed WordPress the latest version on WordPress with plugins BuddyPress and bbpress.
I created a dummy user under the role “Participant” but when I login to it and go to the forums I see no “Create New Topic” button anywhere.
Also I already created a category forum.
I want my users to be able to make their own topics in my categories that I make.

Hi guys
I was wondering if we can have a link to the last post along with OP’s title for each forum in the home page, a bit like what we have in phpbb.
I searched a lot, but could not find a thing to get the last post of a forum, or a link to it. In another discussion someone suggested the use of get_topic_last_post_link, which when I tried, got undefined error.
Anyone has an idea ?
Thanks.
PS.
WP: 2.8.1
BBPress: 2.5.3
Hi,
I am having an issue with users posting on the forums. When a user presses return for a new paragraph in the editor it shows a line break as it should, however, when the post is submitted this formatting is lost and the text appears as a continuous block without line breaks.
Curiously it works if you manually enter a <BR> tag but, as this is site is aimed at tech newbies, the users cannot be expected to enter HTML tags in their posts.
It was working previously so I suspect that something in my template has nerfed it but I cannot for the life of me trace it.
Any help would be appreciated…
