When user logs in the user gets its role automatically.
The forum role is not actually set until the user logs in for the first time at which time they will then be assigned the role defined in the settings.

I have the following set:
Setting>Forums>Forum User Settings>Auto Role – set to participant
And besides my installation of WP and bbpress is new installed.
Is this some kind of bug?

I have WP 3.7.1 installed with bbPress 2.4.1.
When I create a user in frontend the user role is not set.
I need to use repair forum function in order to sync every time I create a user,
WordPress Dashboard -> ‘Tools’ -> ‘Forums’ -> ‘Repair Forums’
I am using the default twenty eleven theme.
Can someone please help me with this?
I recommend you to just download the latest files from the trunk and upload it to your server and it should solve your issue.
After the v2.4.1 is release you could then just update your bbpress plugin again
@mrittman you could use the hook bbp_theme_before_reply_admin_links to achieve that.
by using the hook you could add whatever link you want and also its text.

this is hard to say, the contributors are volunteers and create functions and patches/bugs in the next release. So it is hard to say.
But I hope that the team can have it finished within 2-3 weeks.
I have been searching to find such a plugin but haven’t found any.
Perhaps this could be implemented in the bbPress.
I will check it up and try create a solution for this since it is a good idea.

EDIT: perhaps you can limit the creation of topics in the backend.
For example, the admin can choose in the backend whether or not if users should have topic creations limits:
* No limit
* Allow only X topic creations / hour, where X is chooseable.
Did you change the language in the

Please check the plugins/themes you have installed and disable the banners.
