In reply to: the user changes his password
Ah… is there a ‘forgot password’ link bar bb-reset-password.php?
In reply to: the user changes his password… I’ve noticed that while logging in as the Key Master user, you can’t change people’s password for them.
Also, the bb-reset-password.php file doesn’t actually seem to do anything bar echo the message that should appear after the user asks to reset their password:
“Password Reset
An email has been sent to the address we have on file for you. If you don’t get anything with a few minutes, or your email has changed, you may want to get in touch with the webmaster or forum administrator here.”
Considering this, is there any way for me to reset the password for a user who’s forgotten theirs?
In reply to: A phpBB to bbPress database converterYeah, I needed about 80 megs of memory for this particular script, luckily my host upped it while I ran it.
jaim3, perhaps note that somewhere in a readme, for the not-so-smart users like myself.
In reply to: Plugin: Private Forums v 2.1Alrighty, just to be a dumbarse, I’d love to use this plugin but I’ve NO idea how to do the “Upgrade the installation of bbPress to the latest version from the code repository” bit.
I’ve recently migrated from phpBB over to BBpress, with all my posts and topics thankfully intact… but I’ve some forums I need to hide.
Is there no way to hide forums based on the user level at all?
In reply to: How do I delete a forum?… the problem here is you can delete a forum but not the post entries in the database that are in said forum…
In reply to: A phpBB to bbPress database converterI’m getting an ‘out of memory error’ as so:
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 20971520 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 5803 bytes) in /home/pith/domains/pithrecords.com/public_html/phpbb2bbpress.php on line 910
… is it just that my server sux?
In reply to: Plugin – Private MessagesIt doesn’t load for me either, in FF or Opera, using XP in Australia.
