In reply to: RSS links not working
Short of the obvious stupid answer (upgrade or quit using IE I think we need to test this out with more IE6 users. I think I have one old PC kicking around and will do some testing on this.

In reply to: login not workingYou have to give way more information than that for us to help you out! What is the URL of you installation. What version did you install. Are you using permalinks? What errors are you seeing? Are you using a particular browsers?

In reply to: Plugin: Post NotificationYou might be correct that if checked ‘in your profile’ it would notify everyone of all posts replied and created if they also have it checked. It would notify you of any post or reply in the forum. At least, that is what the code suggests on first glance. Spencerp or Thomas should be able to clarify this.

In reply to: Rss feed for latest topicsYou can actually edit rss.php to get it to 50 if you want as well! Just search for the number ’32’ in that file

In reply to: How to change the rewrite rules ?The rules are generated using Multiview if you can and originate out of /bb-admin/rewrite-rules.php. I am not sure if anyone has ever tackled it before, but maybe someone else has an idea how to get this accomplished because I am sure it can be accomplished.

In reply to: Plugin: Post NotificationI think the following will do what you are hoping. It is referenced 2 or 3 times in this thread.

In reply to: Installation is successful, then 404$bb->path = '/bbpress/';
I am also assuming that you don’t want to integrate the logins with WP then as you don’t have your wordpress information for integration.
Trent
In reply to: Installation is successful, then 404I think we can get this going. Post the content of your config.php (without username and password for database XXX them out). We should be able to help.

In reply to: No Login with IE6<standard stuff you already know>
Did you clear the cache on it to make sure that the cookies and cache are not part of the problem on the troubled computers?
</standard stuff you already know>

In reply to: No Login with IE6Are others having this issue with IE6 as well? If we can confirm what is going on exactly here, so we can post up a TRAC ticket and get this solved ASAP!

In reply to: Template: bbPress Forum ThemeIt is simple enough to change back if you want to. Just don’t want a bunch of ‘complete’ bbPress clones out there.

In reply to: Calendar?Searching hotscripts brings up 261 results! ! ! Not sure (as I have never used one before) which one would be best for you, but until someone gets you on the straight and arrow it is a place to start searching!

In reply to: the user changes his passwordJust try logging in one time with their username with the wrong password and the links to recover password comes up. There is no ‘hard code page’ that I am aware of. That file is called off login page and has to pass the username to it ahead of time, so calling it directly won’t work.
Trent
In reply to: the user changes his passwordJust send them to the forgot password link right now I am afraid, or do it for them and tell them to check their email for the new password that is sent to them.

In reply to: ErrorIt just adds feed: before the link. If you take that off it works.

In reply to: Quote OptionPeiqinglon wrote: I think it would be very cool to have a quote button on each post so you can quote what a person has said like in other forums.
I agree as well. The way I just did it is the only way to do it right now (using blockquote on your server might be better).

In reply to: Logout and login problemsI know there was a problem with the links for some people. I might just try the solution found here and see if it works for you:
