Can I please get some help with this?? Does anybody know how to achieve this? @robin-wIn reply to: Sorting answers inside of topics
@robin-w Is this possible to add fronted sorting options with your plugin?In reply to: [New feature] View/Hit Counts
Hi all,is there a way to use this plugin as a live hit counter for forums or does it only work by a user visiting the forum and leaving or what way does it work can anyone explain please? Thanks in advance
Does anybody know the solution to this please? I really need help….
@robin-w I did a little digging and I found the piece of code responsible for logging the user’s visit based on the current page
$page_url = sanitize_text_field($_SERVER['REQUEST_URI']);
Would you know how to edit that to fit for bbp_forum_permalink(); so that it logs for each individual forum because I have the CBXUserOnline shortcode in the loop-single-forums.php file so I was hoping that it would recognise the views for each individual forum. Hopefully I’m making sense lol
Please let me know if what I’ve said makes sense 🙂
Yeah I got it to work thank you, the reason it wasn’t working was because I had a BBPress folder in my main theme folder which was overwriting your plugin’s functions but it’s fixed now thanks again! 😀In reply to: Echo Subscribe Link
I got it to work using that method except in the includes/forum/template.php file Thank you! 😀In reply to: Redirect after subscription
Does anybody know or find any resolution for this? I am having the same issue and was wondering if this was ever resolved? Thank you
It seems to be exactly what I’m looking for but when I changed it to the other layout, it didn’t change for some reason. Could I have overwritten the settings somehow? Because I have edited the files in the BBPress folder, so is there an action or a hook or a filter that needs to be in place in order for the changes to take effect? Thanks
I will have a look at that now thank you very much 🙂
First, thank you for your speedy reply, really appreciate it. Second, although it’s not built in by default do you know how I would go about achieving this result by any chance?
Does anyone know how to just echo the subscription link? Because I would like to link that functionality to an image instead of the word subscribe, is this possible? And if so, does anyone know how to do it? Thank you
Yeah I was having a chat with the plugin developer and he said the same thing I am just waiting for confirmation. Thanks very much
Ok thank you anyway. Would you know anyone who might know how to tackle this issue?
Thank you @robin-w…. Do you know anything about the issue I am having though? I am in a real pickle here :/
Thanks for the reply, I’m currently using that plugin but it doesn’t work the way I need it to. It tells me the number of users currently online but not currently viewing any particular thread, forum or page for that matter. But thank you for the suggestion. If you know of a way to maybe code it so that it does that please feel free to share whatever info you might have as it would be greatly appreciated! 😀In reply to: Check if topic is sticky
