In reply to: Placing bbPress directly in WordPressYou could either make your bbPress theme look like your WordPress theme or use the bbPress WordPress Plugin, which is currently still in development.

Yes. All you would need to do is sign up for another Akismet account (which is free).

If you run a blog with the same Akismet key, the spam comments would be counted along with any spam posts on your forum.

In reply to: Cannot Edit UsersI don’t understand what you did. When you change the folder name, the pretty permalinks gets confused. All you have to do is go into permalinks settings and save without making any changes. This works the same way in WordPress.

In the admin panel, go to the posts tab and change the filter to show posts with the status “spam”. Akismet puts all the spam posts there, and as far as I know, it never removes them without your consent.
Akismet works fine for forums. I haven’t noticed any false positives for over a year.

In reply to: Display bbpress on wordpress page (inside the blog)mindacatur, did you seriously need to bump a year-old topic just to say you were going to use software unrelated to this forum?
In reply to: How can I see members IP adress?https://bbpress.org/plugins/topic/nospamuser/
bbPress doesn’t store IP addresses of users when they register. The Project Honey Pot plugin will block the spammers from every page on your forum, including the login page, so there’s no reason to worry.
