I’m new to bbPress and forums in general. . . but i’m noticing that its VERY stripped down. It can’t do much right out the box.

Are these forums dead? The community for bbPress doesn’t seem very active at all. Scary.

I’m still deciding between bbPress, Vanilla and SMF. . .
Advertising is extremely important to me though.
1and1 Tech Support was extremely fast, wow.
I had to go into advanced settings and put in the Host Name. . .
I didn’t think i needed to mess with the advanced stuff, but i guess i did.
