Simple:Press is ok, but i like more your bbPress style. It’s very simple!
I suggest you Import from bbPress and other forum plugins. I use now Simple:Press, but i want use bbPress plugin in future.

I think that these are no longer published. September 15 bbPress comes as an additional part of WordPress with plugin.
I think bbPress standalone is dead in 2010.
Matt Mullenweg: Non-plugin bbPress development is going to continue until we have a perfect importer so people will be able to bring their content out of the legacy codebase.

Akismet catch in my blog 99 % of spam. In bbPress ck’s plugin Human Test works 100 %.

You may want try this on Kakumei theme too. If this works fine in Kakumei, your Apple theme is broken.
Do you try de-activate ALL plugins? If this work, re-enable one by one and check which plugin is broken.
