Apparently, these kinds of emails are considered “transactional” not commercial, so they would not be under the Can-Spam Act!
In addition, how would I edit the emails so that I could the link to this button in the footer or explain how to get to the button?

Thanks for replying Stephen! Interestingly enough, when I went into incognito mode as my second account, I didn’t encounter anything wrong this time within the forums themselves. However, when I went onto the homepage, I got the same glitch again where it logged me out.
After deactivating all plugins besides bbpress and buddypress, I didn’t see the issue come up again.
Also, for those who are wondering, I fixed the glitch where no topics show up in the forums by deactivating all of my plugins besides bbpress and then reactivating most of them. (I didn’t activate one because i didn’t need it)
Thanks Fuskeren! The bug mentioned in the trac ticket does seem to be the exact same bug I encountered, and I managed to fix it by adding new posts. So does this mean that whenever I trash a post, this glitch will occur again?

While trying to fix the problem above by trying to activate 2.6 alpha, I somehow messed up the forum index even more! Now, whenever I click into any forum, no topics even show up 🙁 I then managed to install 2.6 alpha, and I tried going through the forum repair tool again chronologically, but nothing has changed. Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?
