In reply to: Mass user delete
What plug in did you use? I’m still looking for something to mass delete users in bbPress.
In reply to: Basic integration screencastSomeone call me when the integration works both ways! Heh
In reply to: Basic integration screencastWell that explains it all!
In reply to: Basic integration screencastYeah, there’s years of posts I would lose and forum users.
Is this integration NOT meant to be done with a existing install of bbPress? Is it the intended behavior for it to use the WP user tables and ignore the BB user tables?
In reply to: phpbb3 -> bbpress converterWorked perfectly. Thank you!
In reply to: Basic integration screencastOK, I can sign-in to BB with my WP admin account, but now none of my BB accounts work.
In reply to: Basic integration screencastMy bb_users and wp_users are in two different databases. I filled out the advanced settings in bbPress for that however, so I’m not sure why it wouldn’t be working.
Just checked, both tables still exist in their respective databases.
In reply to: Basic integration screencastYeah, would that sub-folder have anything to do with it?
In reply to: Basic integration screencastIntegration doesn’t seem to be working for me. I followed the screencast, but for some reason when I sign into my WP it signs me OUT of my bbPress. And vice-versa. And I can’t use my Key Master account to sign-in to WP admin.
In reply to: Bozo deletionWhen will we see a mass edit users function in bbPress? Can someone make a plugin?
In reply to: phpbb3 -> bbpress converterI’m about to run this script. THANK YOU! So for the md5 hashing plugin, do we need to install that after we convert? Or?
In reply to: PHPBB3 ConverstionIs there an ETA on the converter?
In reply to: PHPBB3 ConverstionJust realized I can’t do it, the phpBB3 -> phpBB2 converter doesn’t bring over the users. And I don’t want to lose my userbase.
So it looks like I’ll just be waiting until a phpBB3 -> bbPress converter is finished! Whenever that’ll be!
In reply to: PHPBB3 ConverstionI guess I’ll try the phpBB3 -> phpBB2 -> bbPress method. Yikes!
In reply to: PHPBB3 ConverstionIs the phpBB 3.0 converter included in bbPress 1.0 alpha 2? Just curious, I’m interested in testing it out.
In reply to: PHPBB3 ConverstionSo what was the outcome from the Summer of Code? Did we get a phpBB 3.0 converter?
In reply to: PHPBB3 ConverstionAny updates on this?
In reply to: bbPress 0.9.0.2 releasedFixed it. There was a problem with the secret key. I entered it in the field during installation, but for some reason it wasn’t written correctly in the bbpress config file.
In reply to: bbPress 0.9.0.2 releasedI’m having a problem with a fresh install of 0.9.0.2. After last step of installation…

In reply to: PHPBB3 ConverstionI wish there was a beta script! I really want to move from phpbb3 to bbpress now.
In reply to: Dropping “MultiViews” support?Definitely drop MultiViews
In reply to: invision board?Good news! Hopefully bbPress will eventually have private messaging in the core so the importers can move over PM data as well!
In reply to: invision board?I think the most important feature for bbPress’ future will be importers / converters.
People are going to want to integrate their forums with WordPress. And those of use already running vBulletin or IPB are going to want to convert to bbPress!
In reply to: WordPress 2.5 is live… now for bbPress 0.9?Just a shot in the dark, but I’m guessing the new WordPress.org is using an updated version of bbPress. Looks new-ish! (has gravatar support, etc)
