In reply to: Facebook Connect – Stopped Working
Most probably Facebook changes have broken the code of this plugin. Unless someone fixes that, there might not be a chance of getting it to work.
You shouldn’t. They are there for a reason
In reply to: Skeleton – A Responsive WP/bbPress ThemeCool! Great job. I am in love with responsive designs
In reply to: Private MessagingI think you are talking about this – https://bbpress.org/forums/topic/security-warning-stop-using-private-messaging-plugin
Don’t confuse Private messaging plugin with the bbPM plugin. The latter one is a great plugin. Go ahead and use it.
https://bbpress.org/plugins/topic/bbpm/
Also Ben (plugin author) is already working on a bbPM version which is for the new bbPress (WordPress plugin).
In reply to: Private MessagingbbPM is a good private messaging plugin & if its not getting updates, it doesn’t mean it need updates.
I would suggest you to use the standalone version
So, Custom Post Types / Taxonomies aren’t powerful enough for you?
In reply to: Edit dont work?“Edit site”?
Please rephrase in small sentences. Can’t understand anything!
In reply to: Edit dont work?There is a timeout limit after which the user can’t edit their posts. You can change it in the settings, if you want.
In reply to: Installation problemNot sure but I doubt it has something to do with the database collation. Try installing with a database which has its collation set to
utf8_unicode_ci
In reply to: Avatars 1/4 of their sizeYou will have to deal with that padding anyway.
To change the avatar size, create a new theme by copying the bbpress-twentyten theme to your WordPress themes directory and changing its name in style.css and then at line 53 of the file
bbpress/loop-forums.php
(can be the wrong file) look forbbp_author_link
function. You will see the size as 14 there, change it to a bigger size.In reply to: Avatars 1/4 of their sizeIts a prob with your CSS,
At line 5 of colors.css
img.avatar {
padding: 0px 10px 10px 0px;
float: left;
}This padding is ruining it. Other than that size is ok, you can change it too though.

In reply to: Biziness template is not visible in WordPress.You are using the bbPress plugin and not the standalone version.
Themes for standalone version aren’t compatible with the plugin one.
What you need is some CSS fixes because the forums are already under your WordPress theme.
In reply to: Biziness template is not visible in WordPress.Sounds like you are using the standalone version. Its a bbPress theme so it will be visible in bbPress dashboard and not in WordPress dashboard.
If you still have issues, change the permission of my-templates folder to 755. Incase you don’t know how to change permissions, read this – http://blog.ashfame.com/2009/09/fix-my-templates-my-plugins-folder-not-working-bbpress/
In reply to: Notices, warnings – develop with wp-debug on pleaseIn reply to: is_bbpress() doesn't account tag pagesIn reply to: WP Cache?Caching is pretty much useless for logged in members & plugin doesn’t cache them either, so there will be no caching when users are logged in & I believe forum pages will be cached as usual WordPress pages when users are not logged in.
In reply to: Notices, warnings – develop with wp-debug on pleaseAnd I see this particular line everywhere
