bbPress 1.0-alpha-4 released

Hot on the heels of 1.0-alpha-3 comes 1.0-alpha-4.

I’d like to say that there are significant differences between the two releases, but this is basically a bug fix release, and more specifically a release to fix one major bug!

  1. i just upgrade to alpha 4. but now the login isn’t work. do you have an idea what could be wrong?

  3. Hate to ask the obvious question … bbPress is at least somewhat tested before a release to posted, right?

    Also, any idea when the stable 1.0 release will be made available?

    I understand the agrument of “when it’s ready”. But a general idea helps greatly, even if you just say sometime in Dec, or Jan-Feb.

    A lot of use have been waiting for bbPress 1.0 for over a year now because we think it’s “almost done”. How close are we guys?

  4. I cannot log in either! I just upgraded from alpha 3 to alpha 4 and no go… I cannot log into my forum at all!

  5. ok, after checking nearly every new line in the scripts i found the error.
    it was just a cookie problem. the cookie auth codes has changes in update to wp2.7.

  15. You should be able to upgrade from any version to the latest alpha. Even 0.9 versions. Backup first!
