Users at different role levels, 404 error on clicking topic

Published on March 4th, 2015 by Philobite

On a private forum, I have a topic created by a WordPress user (A) with Administrator privs and forum Keymaster privs, and a WordPress user (B) with Subscriber privs and forum Participant privs.

If User B clicks on a topic created by User A, B does not see the topic but gets a 404 error.

However, user A can click on and view topics created by user B.

bbpress ranking

Published on March 4th, 2015 by jaydd

Hello!
I would like to know if you know about any way i could give my user a rank like ‘boss’ and if possible a picture connected to the rank(that are displaying in the forum near the person’s name for example when one submits a reply)
The important thing here would be to have ranks set by me,the administrator, without any pointing system and stuff, just manually
Thanks, Daniel

Dear People,

I just installed bbpress and im facing some problems. I did install it before but this time im facing various problems. First of all the permalinks are pretty strange and i dont know how to fit it. My second problem is the forum main page. I created my main forum and added some topics as admin. However the topics i made are not on the forum page, but i did link them to eachother.

Image captions not displaying in forum posts

Published on March 3rd, 2015 by Pewit

If I add an image with a caption using the tinyMCE editor it generates the code below which is displayed properly in the WP editor and if I preview the post from outside the forum.

<a href="/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/IMG_0089.jpg"><img class="size-medium wp-image-683" src="/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/IMG_0089-300x225.jpg" alt="An image description" width="300" height="225" /></a>My image caption

However, once the post is added to the forum, I get the image but the caption codes are ignored.

Quotes are including HTML?

Published on March 3rd, 2015 by mike.sweeney

Hi there, when an anonymous user quotes a quote, it is including raw HTML in there. Any ideas? This doesn’t occur if logged in as admin. Screen shot attached to show what I’m talking about.
