I’m looking to add a field to the bbPress sign-up process, so that it’ll be added to bb_usermeta like the default Website/Occupation/Location ones. Does anyone know of any plugins that already do this?
I think I could hack it up but I’d rather learn from a plugin that’s doing it properly. Thanks!

SMTP mailer for BBpress is not working for me.
I have installed on the local machine the Easy Php and set up the bbpress.
I have internet connection and I used my office SMTP address and changed the file mentioned in the plugin, but still the same problem I am not able to send the mails to the users who registered.
Please look into this and help me with this problem

as many topics in this forum, this is another one concerning permalinks. I have read the FAQ here: https://bbpress.org/documentation/faq/#pretty-permalinks and I have tried both, using Options +MultiViews and also using the code generated by /bb-admin/rewrite-rules.php but I cannot seem to get my permalinks working.

The bbpress installation will use pretty permalinks but my host calls it a 404! Please help!

What did I do wrong? I got this before Akismet was deactivated and after.
For some reason I can’t explain, I sometimes (not always) get a message saying:
