I am trying to get an RSS to pull topics only. I see in rss.php some options but how to use them on a certain sub forum.
Like how to pull topics only using rss from a forum such as this: forum.php?id=4
Do I do it like this:
xxx.com/forums/forum-topics/forum-id=4
Trying to figure this out. I did search here and on Google and could not find an answer.
I’ve been using it for years to block spam registrations on my forum. However, over the last couple of months it’s become effectively useless. There are bots out there now that defeat it easily. My forum now gets multiple spam registrations per hour and it’s impossible to keep up with. I’ve had no choice but to disable registration completely and tell people to email me instead. 
What are people doing currently to block spam registrations to bbPress forums?
So I ran the installer and integrated with wordpress. THe lastr piece of information asked for was admin account name. When the installer tried to create the account it gave an error that said the account already existed and the install halted. I entered the admin account I use for wordpress because I want them to be the same. The account does exist BC the two sites are integrated so they use the same user table. Now when I try to open the site it still launches the installer, but the installers sasy “oops this site is already installed”.
Now what, the site keeps runing the installer BC the install didn’t complete, but the installer wont run BC the site is installed.

Where this attachment are saving in what folder ?

when you click through to a forum topic there are page numbers when there are alot of posts ie, 1,2,3, next >>
how can you add this page numbers nav to a forum topic when you first click into a forum and all the topics are listed?
i can see the nav div in the topic.php but just aren’t sure how the php and class works to add it to the foum.php

Hi, i installed all, (wordpress-bbpress) in the same directori, (/test/wordpress – /test/bbpress), and when i try get into the admin panel of bbpres i only get a redirection to the index of my forum. (i put /test/bbpress/bb-admin/index.php and i will be redirected to /test/bbpress/index.php).
What i am doing wrong??

I’m running bbpress which was installed by Buddypress and I’m having an issue. I originally installed buddypress on GoDaddy hosting and everything was working well. I switched over to a VPS about a week ago and everything works except for the forum. When I try to go to the url www.intennis.com/forums I am redirected to the homepage.
Now I’ve tried deleting bb-confing.php and dropping the tables out of my DB, which appears to clean everything out. Then I reinstalled the forums via BuddyPress and I still get the same redirection error.
In bb-config.php it has the line which sets the uri of “Forums” to /wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-forums/bbpress/. I’ve tried to check the server logs to see whats going on but I just see a GET for /forums and a GET for /. I’m really at a loss, if someone could give me an idea of what to look at I’d greatly appreciate it.
