In the current bbP Plugin there is a limited set of tags allowed:

I’d really like to include at least one or two more tags, but I can’t for the life of me find where the list of tags is actually defined. I found functions that request them, like bbp_get_allowed_tags() but can’t find where the list itself is.
Anyone know the answer to this mystery?

Hello, maybee I’m too stupid to understand this, but I tried everything, and no results. So I hope, someone in this forum, could help me.
After I fully integrated bbpress with my wordpress, the plugins menu just disappeared, like it never before existed…
I’v maide a my-plugins derectory, I’v typed the bbpress url to bbpress integration plugin, I’v even tried to add manually cookiek setting’s to the wp-config.php file, but the result’s are same.

I’m using a program to restrict access to sections of my wordpress site. This program has it’s own user account authentication. I want to integrate bbPress and my other program.
How would I use the authentication from my other program with bbPress forum software?
I’m trying to make the user interface a bit more friendly in my bbpress install and I can’t seem to find the text “You must log in to post.”
This is the text that shows up to guests when they are trying to start a new topic or if they want to reply to a post.
I’d like to add a nice “Login” button there as a call to action so people easily know where to go.
Anybody know where that text is in the code so I can edit it or add something to it?
As you know there is some markup allowed in bbPress. This is pretty good but i think the allowed tags are not enough. So I’m asking if there are plans to integrate the <u> and the <i> in future releases of bbPress. I modified the “allow Images”-Plug-In. But I think there is nothing that speaks against the integration of these tags.
I just uninstalled the old “Post Notification” plugin that has been around for years.

The reason was that it was making responses super-slow to submit. Upon sending your response it would query every user in the database to check who should receive a response. If you have thousands of users this will take some time.

Installed BBPress in WP and was given the installation complete.
Clicked on Activate Plugin and received the following error.
The plugin does not have a valid header.
