Can somebody please tell me why this
bbp_author_ip( bbp_get_reply_id() );
prints me the correct ip but with ( ) before and after like this -> (02.02.02.02) instead of just 02.02.02.02
thanks in advance

Hi. is there something wrong with the servers somewhere? I have 2 wordpress accounts and I keep timing out trying to signin to them.
Help

I have installed bbpress, and I can use everything in the dashboard to set up the forum and create topics, etc. But when I go to forum I created there is nothing there. I am using the Mercato Premium WordPress Theme. Can you help me find out how to get the forum to show in my template.
Are the instructions for migrating the BP Discussion Forums content to bbPress 2.3 the same as for migrating to bbPress 2.2, as described at the following link? https://codex.buddypress.org/user/setting-up-a-new-installation/installing-group-and-sitewide-forums/using-bbpress-2-2-with-buddypress/
As the title says. There appears to be no way to do so. http://www.worldsfactory.net/forums
I thought that maybe the form was not included in the theme (which is custom by the way) by the original designer, could that be the case? I tried with our current coder but he said that he found a place to add function to new topic form, but that function doesn’t seem to work.
Can you help us? It’s a pretty big problem for us, basically stopping our community progress. Thanks in advance.
Hi Guys,
I am moving a medium sized forum from one WordPress site to another existing site.
Everytime I use the WordPress exporter / Importer it works, but is missing the Topics. I have tried doing it on a database level but keep over writing existing data on the current site.
I’ve noticed there is a specific forum importer but doesn’t offer any import from current bbpress 2 forums.
Any advice?
Thanks
I’ve tried three different themes including the default buddypress theme and 2012, deactivated all other plugins, etc…
There is no bbpress forum search box showing up on my site. I’ve removed and reinstalled bbpress and buddypress a couple times, too.
Any ideas?
I can’t even find a setting for the search box – like show/hide (if that’s even an option).
Help?
I’m just cleaning up my community, that is, the members were not in the last 3 months active will automatically receive an email message, with the message: if you do not log in the next 7 days, membership disabled.
At the same time the Admin also receive this mail.
Is there a possibility: plugin or anything else,
Has an idea?
Thanks in advance.
Good day,

Can anyone tell me what is the easiest way to do this?
I have knowledge of php and html and a little bit of CSS.
