My forums are not displaying on my forum directory on the front end!

Published on April 18th, 2013 by plustwoclub

I need some assistance, I don’t know where I am going wrong. I have forums that I have created that are not showing up on my forum page. When I click on the page it say *no topics here*, and when I go to create a topic it doesn’t work…I have no idea what to do next. Obviously something is not pointing to where it should be.

my url is www.plustwoclub.com

Private Forum/Thread

Published on April 18th, 2013 by CJM1504

Hello,

I have been asked to see if there is a way to make a private forum/thread that is not visible unless the user has been allowed access.

From what I understand it is possible to make a thread private but I am unclear on hiding it from others that don’t have permission.

No pagination

Published on April 18th, 2013 by buttons00

In all my forums there is not pagination. Instead it says, “Viewing 6 topics – 1 through 13 (of 13 total)”

There’s no way to view the 7 additional topics- no page numbers to click on. I’d like to just have all the topics on one page.

I already set number of topics per page to show to 100 (in Forum settings).

“Blog pages show at most” under Settings–>Reading is also set to 100.

My forum was working fine until yesterday, but suddenly it shows nothing

Published on April 18th, 2013 by iosqar

Hi!

A week ago I migrated my vbulletin forum to bbpress, and everything seemed to be working fine until yesterday.

I’m using bbpress 2.3, the forum shows all counters, but to see the detail of each subforum it just shows nothing. The funny thing is that if the URL of each subforum I add “?view=all” parameter … it shows all!

i.e

1.-If you type the url of my forum:

http://myforum.com/foros/

All is fine til here …

2.-select a subforum

select the GENERAL subforum

http://myforum.com/foros/foro/general/

and then displays the following:

As I mentioned above, if i put “?view=all” parameter you will view all content

http://myforum.com/foros/foro/general/?view=all

and then displays the following:

I have not changed even one line of plugin code (neither blog)

Any Idea?

Thanks!

How to edit email content?

Published on April 18th, 2013 by frozengoat

Hello, I was wondering if it is possible to edit the content of the emails that are sent out when a new user registers or changes/forgets their password.

When a new user registers, the email they receive only says the username/password and provides a link, nothing else.

I would like to be able to edit this if it is possible?

I’m using WordPress 3.5.1 and Twenty Twelve.

Linking security issue/Private topics surface

Published on April 18th, 2013 by Nate

Upgraded to 2.3, and when a casual user chooses to hyperlink and opts to “Use Existing Content” and performs a search, all topic subjects posted in a Private forum (in this case, our moderator forum) are presented.

Is this a known issue?
