I am trying to “fight” with the bbPress installation on top of the existing Genesis / Dynamik installation.
The forum and all other elements look like a bad experiment in html links by a novice.

I’ve just installed bbPress on my WordPress site through my admin and when I click activate plugin I get this message
“You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.”
It does show it’s activated when I look at it in “installed plugins” but if I click “settings” or “about” I get the same message!
I’ve tried deleting bbPress and reinstalling it but still no change!
I’ve also searched the forums for an answer but haven’t able to find anything.
Any Ideas?

Vs 2.4 in WordPress 3.6.1
I have installed BBPress and am trying things out, posting topics and forums but looking in the admin Forum section under All Replies, all but the first is marked Mismatch with 0 counts. Why is this and what will it affect? It’s still not listed on our site, but it’s live and working. I would like to work the bugs out before going live.
Anyone have any ideas on what this means?

I want to install bbpress on my site (with word press last revision). Is there a version in italian? Or I must to set the language into administrator setup?

I would like to remove the “Voices” count field next to each topic. How is this done?
It only counts user posts, not guest posts (and my users are mostly guests), making it pretty misleading.
I now this has been asked in the past, but I find nothing new on the subject so I’m asking again. We have a group who has always used Yahoo loops and were considering leaving them when their newest redesign made the decision easy for us.
I’ve installed BBPress, but the only thing I can’t do is set things so our members can reply to posts on the forum via the notification email they receive of new posts.
We will use BBPress for our classes in which class forums are restricted to paid registrants, but many can’t seem to let go of the whole Yahoo thing and expect to respond via email to the posts.
Does anyone know of an easy to use plugin that will handle this for us?

How can my New users create their own avatar. It seesm like i as an admin is the only one who has that option
On http://www.ausstellungpro.de/?post_type=forum the login is not working as expected. I have created a ‘testuser’ with password ‘testuser’ and role ‘participant’.
When logging in, in the frontend there seems to be nothing happening (e.g. I could create a new post or the warning ‘You must be logged in to create new topics.’ disappears).
In addition, the forum is in English, while it should be in German like the rest of the site.
What should I look for or try out?
I currently setup a Q&A forum and I have certain users hijacking others questions. What I would like to do is when another user asks an unrelated question in a topic to be able to create or move that comment or question to a Topic all by itself.
Topic 1 = question 1
comment 1 = answer 1
comment 2 = question 2 (this should be another topic)
Any help highly appreciated
