I just imported my old forum from IP.Board to bbPress and this is a Norwegian forum, all of the characters “æ ø å” became some weird signs. See the picture below.
What is happening here? Is there a way I can import without this problem? Or fix it?

I see now that the characters was like this in the old IP.Board DB… Is there a way to make bbPress convert the letters to the proper one?

If this is only for A and Y you may be able to use a find and replace plugin.
