Does the above code still work?

I tried to paste into my functions.php and don’t see any difference in breadcrumbs.

Jan 2020 – perhaps bbpress or wp code has changed?

This sounds like what I’m trying to do. Do you figure this out?

That link shows a nice page that’ve designed, into which the bbpress content fits nicely.

But when I click into the forums, or open any topic, they open in some generic template page. I have no ideas where that page is..

I would LIKE to design a page for forums/topics with a nice header graphic etc (just like my link above), and I would like bbPress to open the forums/topics in that page.

My forums can be seen at:

In case it matters, Im using the Avada theme. (But I can just insert the shortcodes for bbpress where required)

I just discovered that after the import, although the forum page says lots of posts and topics in each forum, when I enter any forum there are NO topics.

So this is going really badly….

(I also tried converting all of my phpBB tables to utf8mb_unicode_ci but that didn’t help).

The onscreen status is very high level. Is there an import log somewhere that might provide more details- pointing to something I can fix? I’m comfortable altering the MySQL structure of phpBB if needed.

BTW, I only have 30 users on my forum. (Still relatively new). Is it easier/possible to manually create the users and then import will match them up to the right user (based on username)?

I had the same problem (with phpBB 3.2.4) and no users importing. I tried creating a new founder and downgrading everyone else to standard accounts.

It still won’t work. Was there anything else you did?
